“It Ain’t Hard to Tell” is a 1994 hip hop single by Nas. The single, a popular song in the undergrounds, samples Michael Jackson’s 1982 hit single “Human Nature“. The lyrics are a braggadocio style rap, which have been sampled in many songs, including “Ebonics” by Big L. This single, along with the album it’s featured on is considered a milestone of the Golden Age of Hip-Hop. Nas created an homage to Wild Style (1982), the first hip hop motion picture, while shooting “It Ain’t Hard to Tell’s” music video, as he shot portions of the clip on the same stage used for the final scene of Wild Style.
Investigators probing the cause of R&B star Brandy’s devastating car crash last month (30Dec06) have ruled out mechanical factors. The singer/actress triggered the accident when she collided with another vehicle on California’s 405 freeway. The subsequent pile-up left the driver Brandy rammed into dead. Brandy was neither injured in the pile-up nor arrested but could still be found primarily at fault or criminally negligent after California Highway Patrol spokesman Leland Tang revealed an inspection of all four vehicles involved in the crash found no mechanical defects.
He added, “We know the person who started the chain reaction was obviously Brandy Norwood,” but he insisted the 27-year-old had been “fantastically cooperative” with police.
Investigators will spend the next few days sifting through evidence from the scene and conducting further interviews before turning the case over to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office for review. Of course it wasn’t mechanical failiure. It was just a case of the-bitch-cant-drive. She was driving a 2005 or 2006 car, right?? Those things come with ANTI-LOCK brakes! She could have been 1 inch away from the car in front of her, and slammed on brakes and wouldn’t have hit the other car. Poor Brandy… But I feel even worse for those kids who will now be without a mother for the rest of their lives.

A website by the name of parisexposed.com has been started up by someone who purchased all of Paris Hilton’s things that she stored in a public storage facility. Apparantly, she failed to pay the bill, and like all storage facilities, to receive some kind of compensation, they auctioned off all of her stuff. Not surprising… But for nearly $40/month, YOU can have access to all of these personal items as well!! I kind of feel sorry for her, but in a way I don’t. Who puts all of their personal things in a public storage facility and then forgets to pay the damn bill? She asked for this…
George Clooney and Pamela Anderson have become Hollywood’s most unlikely couple after the pair was spotted frolicking together on a romantic, fun dinner date. The Oscar winner booked a private room at Sherman Oaks, California, restaurant the Valley Inn, and entertained the former Baywatch babe there on Jan. 7, according to reports. And since that evening, which ended with Anderson sitting on her date’s lap, the odd couple has been spotted out and about, enjoying dog walks together.
A pal says, “George and Pam have been determined to keep this one quiet.”

Damn, this girl can’t go anywhere with upsetting SOMEBODY! Lindsay Lohan has upset residents of the Los Angeles rehab facility she checked into earlier this month because they claim she’s treating the facility like a hotel. The fellow troubled souls seeking counseling and solace at the Wonderland center are upset with Lohan’s trips out of the facility–and the fact she’s being allowed to continue working on her new movie while in rehab. The final straw reportedly came yesterday when the Mean Girls star took a break from rehab to have her Mercedes serviced and shop.
Sources at Wonderland have aired their grievances to news Web site TMZ.com, claiming the actress is getting special treatment. They also tell the site Lohan has a masseur, hairstylist and makeup artist, who visit her regularly. But the actress’ publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, insists Lohan is taking rehab seriously, and the criticism is unwarranted.
She says, “Lindsay is 100 percent not getting special treatment. She’s getting the same as everyone else. This isn’t the Betty Ford Clinic; it’s not a lockdown facility. There is personal time. All these nay-sayers who keep blogging and speaking out… they don’t know what she’s going through, they’re not there. They shouldn’t speak until they’ve gone through something like that.”
Get over it people! Are you jealous?? This is a rehab center, not a lunatic asylum (even though people do confuse the two). She’s not chained to a bed and drugged up on heavy amounts of prozac and zoloft (even though she should be). Mind your business, and stay out of hers…
Pop superstar Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have fuelled reports they are a couple after the actress flew to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on Wednesday to be with the “SexyBack” singer. News of a romance between the couple began circulating after the Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 15 when Timberlake and Biel spent hours together at the post-show party hosted by Prince in Los Angeles. Timberlake’s ex, Cameron Diaz, was reportedly so upset by seeing her former boyfriend chatting to the Illusionist star, she confronted him about his new friendship at the party.
A Sundance source says, “Jessica has no reason to be at Sundance. She doesn’t have a film to promote here, while Justin is in town talking about his new film Black Snake Moan. She’s obviously here for him.
Biel, who regularly competes with Diaz in polls to find the world’s sexiest actress, had been dating New York Yankees baseball star Derek Jeter. The couple vacationed together in Puerto Rico over Christmas. Jeter is now being romantically linked to another actress, Gabrielle Union, after he was spotted dancing with her in the Bahamas last weekend.

Serena Williams crushed the top seeded Maria Sharapova 6-1, 6-2, in the Australian Open Finals to become just the second unseeded woman to ever win the Grand Slam event. Chris O’Neill accomplished the feat first in 1978. It didn’t take the 25-year-old American long to capture her eighth Grand Slam Title. Williams took control early winning the first set in just 26-minutes. The second set wasn’t much different as Serena jumped on Sharapova with a strong serve and held a 4-0 lead before disposing of the 19-year-old Russian 6-2. In the end it was Serena’s strength that overcame Sharapova. Williams finished with seven aces in the match, she had 64 throughout the tournament. CONGRATULATIONS SERENA - FROM THINK2WICE.ORG!!

Lately Tyra Banks has been getting a lot of flack for her recent weight gain. I think it’s completely outrageous! I can’t speak for everyone, but for me, I don’t think Tyra Banks is anywhere near fat! And anyone who thinks otherwise might be having a few issues with their own self esteem. I’m happy for Tyra. I’m glad she isn’t letting this get her down. Keep doin what you do Tyra! YOU’RE STILL SEXY!!
On her hit show America’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks has always stressed the importance of body confidence – but it still hurt when tabloids ran an unflattering photo of her in a bathing suit under headlines that screamed, “America’s Next Top Waddle” and “Tyra Porkchop.” Now, for the first time in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Banks, 33, is publicly discussing her much-buzzed-about weight gain. “I get so much mail from young girls who say, ‘I look up to you, you’re not as skinny as everyone else, I think you’re beautiful,’ ” she says. “So when they say that my body is ‘ugly’ and ‘disgusting,’ what does that make those girls feel like?”
As for how Banks feels about her own 5′10″ body – which she says is at 161 lbs. these days, about 30 lbs. heavier than when she landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 1997 – she says: “I still feel hot, but every day is different. It’s when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don’t fit now and give me the muffin top, that’s when I say, ‘Damn!’ In other words, yes: She has put on weight, though not nearly as much as those recent tabloid stories suggested. So when asked by reporters at the London premiere of her latest film, Arthur and the Invisibles, if she planned to retire anytime soon, she responded with a smile – and a resounding: “Absolutely not!” But the singer, who voices a character in the animated Invisibles, showed that family is her top priority. Leaving 15-month old Malawian youngster David snoozing at home, Madonna, walked hand in hand with husband Guy Ritchie and kids Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, 6.
Madonna and Ritchie, who have shot down rumors of a rift in their marriage, got cozy together to pose for family pictures. Madonna, clad in a Dolce & Gabbana coat and knee-high Stella McCartney boots, also stopped to sign autographs for fans. When asked by reporters what she had coming up next in her busy career, the multi-hyphenated star answered: “H&M,” referring to her “M by Madonna” line with the global fashion chain, which launches in stores worldwide March 25. Also on deck for the singer is the release of her special edition CD/DVD The Confessions Tour on Jan. 29. The DVD, filmed during her eight-night stint at London’s Wembley Arena last year, includes the controversial crucifixion scene that excluded from the NBC special that aired last November.

In an online talent contest, five young women are trying to do a lot more than impress Simon Cowell – they’re competing for the chance to sing live with Justin Timberlake at the Feb. 11 Grammys. “To say that it would be a dream come true is not even enough,” says finalist Africa Miranda, one of thousands of performers who sent videos of themselves singing for the My Grammy Moment competition. A panel of judges and Timberlake selected the finalists: Miranda, 30, from Montgomery, Ala.; Brenda Radney, 22, from Staten Island, N.Y.; Jessie James, 18, from Warner Robins, Ga.; Robyn Troup, 18, from Houston; and Jillian Gaudious, 25, from Long Branch, N.J.
“I was hands-on,” Timberlake tells PEOPLE. “I looked at some tapes and gave my opinion.” The winner of the text-message and online vote will be announced just moments before the performance on Feb. 11, though the field will be narrowed down to three finalists by Feb. 4. “To become a recording artist and the first time the world gets to hear them is at the Grammys, I don’t think the opportunity gets any better or bigger,” says Timberlake, who competed on the talent show Star Search as a kid.
