To be honest…I like them both…but I like Monica’s a lot more. I don’t know, seems like Tasia is screaming moreso thatn singing…IMO…but they both did good!

No matter what Fantasia sings someone thinks she is yelling. Come on give the girl her props, she did well on this as did Monica. I prefer Fantasia’s version as it has a little more soul and you can feel every word, as is the case with most things that she sings, she just knows how to tell a story through song. Monica’s version is a little more laid back. Fantasia’s voice is so rich and full. As I said both ladies did their thing each adding something different, it’s just a matter of taste. I really like the collaboration between the two. Really good.

I don’t know what it is about Fantasia but her voice makes everything seem so much more important. Monica’s version was a nice cook-out, steppin jam but some how Fantasia made into a song with an almost serious meaning. In the middle and end where it got kind of repetitive and boring Fantasia’s adlibs kept it interesting.
Long story short, I think Fantasia’s version was better, plus that thick tone her voice has is just amazing to me.

I prefer Monicas version better the beat is more laid back and dont feel that all the screaming was nessessary, dint get me wrong fantasias version was tight and the screaming does it on some songs but not all

I most definately think Fantasia is BETTER…..it has more soul into than Monica’s version!!!!

I like Monica’s better.The beat is laid back and Monica added that laid back style to it..I mean Fantasia doing her thang,but that beat just isn’t made for her.
