Not a boring moment yet! BET stepped it up this year and lived up to past shows. I’m proud of my people! Anyhow, the next set of awards that were presented were BEST COLLABORATION, BEST MALE R&B ARTIST, AND BEST NEW ARTIST. A lot of people thought that since Beyonce & Jay-Z were nominated twice they would automatically take the cake. Diddy & Keyshia and Snoop & Akon had no chance. But in the end, Ludacris & Mary J Blige took home the award for Best Collaboration with their powerful message-song “Runaway Love.” I’m happy with that. My boy Ne-Yo took home the award for Best Male R&B artist, and Jennifer Hudson walked away with her second trophy of the night for Best New Artist - Homegirl doesn’t even have an album out yet! The next three awards that were presented were BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, and BEST HIP-HOP ARTIST!! I agree with all of the winners for these three categories: Jennifer Hudson took home Best Actress, Wonky Eye aka Forest Whitaker won Best Actor, and my favorite rapper T.I. grabbed Best Hip-Hop Artist! When T.I. accepted his award, he apologized on behalf of his other half, T.I.P. for his unruly actions at that party Sunday night. Way-to-go T.I.! More updates to follow. So far so good! The show has been on for about an hour now and so many artists have taken the stage and have blown me away with their performances. So far, only 5 awards have been given out, and I’m going to highlight 2 of them! VIDEO OF THE YEAR & BEST GROUP! Video of the year was won by Beyonce’s Irreplaceable, and Best Group was won by Gnarles Barkley, who couldn’t show up to the show. Sorry for the lack of updates this morning! I’m getting together something really special for tonight’s BET Awards. Boy, times sure does fly when you’re having fun making fun of people rotting away in jail. In a way I’m glad this broad is out of jail. Now people can go back to their normal lives. I was getting tired of turning to major news networks like CNN and NBC only to see them talking about how many times Paris farted in her “cold, lonely” cell. Now people can move on … or will they?

Anyhow, ring the alarm, Paris Hilton is free! She was released shortly after midnight (Cali time of course) and her folks waited for her outside in their SUV for about an hour before she joined them to return home. TMZ is reporting that “Law enforcement sources said that Paris has lost nearly 10 pounds during her stay and that on her way out of jail, she stopped to change clothes in a public restroom that ’smells rancid.’” How awful! But no matter what, I will NEVER forget that photo of her punk ass crying when she was ordered back to jail after being released on house arrest!!
