**UPDATE: The links are working fine now! Sorry guys… Beyoncé feat. Fabolous » “Get Me Bodied (Remix)” » LISTEN » (Full) » This is the official remix of Beyoncé’s “Get Me Bodied,” from the album B’Day, featuring Fabolous - by the way, his album, From Nothin’ To Somethin’ is in stores now peeps. The record was produced by Timbaland, which was obvious, I could smell it. I actually think I like the remix of “Get Me Bodied” better than the original and of course Fabolous’ contribution is why but you know at first I thought Jay-Z was on this shit though, lol.
Diddy feat. Mario Winans » “Through The Pain” » LISTEN » (Full) » Well, it turns out that “Wanna Move” featuring Big Boi, Ciara, and Scar is not going to be Diddy’s next single and neither is “After Love” featuring new artist Keri Hilson but “Through The Pain” featuring Mario Winans! At first I really wanted “Wanna Move” to be the next single but then had a change of heart when Diddy called on the fans to choose between “After Love” and “Through The Pain” which were my favorite joints off the album Press Play. Then I wanted “After Love” to be the next single because I liked it more, mainly because Keri Hilson was on it, and it would debut her. I was spazing when I heard that “Through The Pain” was going to be the official next single and wanted to slap Diddy but now I’m actually feeling it so yeah. :-D LOL! CONTINUE READING
I really have to address this, for the simply fact, people are unaware. Lauryn Hill is not crazy, okay? The media will brainwash you to think that she is, okay? People want to destroy her because she is the truth, okaaaay? Let that marinate for a few moments… Some people, when they don’t understand something, they question it - call it “crazy” and abnormal. What some people don’t get is that artists are marketed, dictated and forced to appeal to consumer standards. Your saying, “Lauryn, shut up and put out another album already!” - newsflash! She can’t, her label will not allow her to, her music has too many positive messages and not enough to perpetuate drugs, sex, and violence in the urban communities. And I’m tired of people calling her crazy … why, because she doesn’t dress like you? Because of her keen fashion sense you call it not standard… Ignorance is bliss indeed.
You don’t even really know her well enough to accuse her of such allegations, but even if she is crazy, why don’t you do your “Christian” part and pray for her or something, instead of killing her more with your backlashing?
Remember ol’ dude who sicked his hoes on Foxy Brown for breaking up with him when she found out he was a pimp? Apparantly he’s wanted! No surprise there, right? New York Daily News is reporting that both the NYPD and his parole officer are looking for him. What’s funny is that Foxy’s no longer cooperating with the po-po because she’s trying to save whatever street cred she had left … before the beat-down I mean.
Timothy Collier, 33, was on parole after serving three years on a drug charge. He was given a curfew shortly after his release out of prison and March, and has broke it at least once. He also skipped a couple of meetings with his PO (Parole Officer) twice … and a warrant was issued for his arrest June 6 for all of these parole violations. So sicking his girls on Foxy was pretty much the nail in the coffin!
I wonder how long this whole thing is gonna pan out. We, of course, will keep you updated!
Diana Ross may have been a Motown goddess, but she was a devil as a boss, according to a new bio. “Most of the time, Diana’s emotional outbursts were about things that really didn’t matter much to anyone but her,” writes J. Randy Taraborrelli in his “Diana Ross,” out in September from Citadel Press. The one-time Supreme fired her entire staff, for instance, after unflattering stories about her found their way into the papers. Not satisfied to stop there, Taraborelli says, she bad-mouthed eight of her former assistants in a letter. “If I let an employee go, it’s because either their work or their personal habits are not acceptable to me,” wrote Ross. “I do not recommend these people. In fact, if you hear from these people and they use my name as a reference, I wish to be contacted.”
The missive got her sued for millions by at least two former employees, including her ex-administrative assistant Gail Davis, who was listed in the letter. Davis settled her case three years later, says Taraborrelli. Those around Ross were routinely asked to avoid eye contact with the diva. “Avert the eyes” soon became a catch phrase to announce Diana’s arrival, Taraborelli claims. Ross often demanded that her concert dressing rooms be redone for her arrival. “She asked that it be made to look like a star’s dressing room,” recalls one venue manager forced to repaint and recarpet. Once, Ross reportedly clubbed an airline worker with a hat box, presumably unaware that the box contained a small dog. But it was personal assistant Michael Browne who hefted the heaviest load of Ross’ whims, Taraborelli says. CONTINUE READING
