Artists like Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Mary J Blige, Lionel Richie, and more took the stage at the newly refurbished Superdome. Of course you can check out all of the photos from Day 3 after the cut! I hate that I had to miss out on this weekend. Maybe next year. For those of you who went I know y’all had fun!

FOXY BROWN SPOTTED AT AWARDS SHOW … AFTER BEING MISSING FOR OVER A WEEK » Foxy Brown has been recently reported as MISSING but according to a few photos, that is definitely not the case. Before this past Saturday, good ol’ Inga hadn’t been seen by anyone for over a week. But the singer surprised her friends and family by appearing at the first annual Urban Music Awards at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, where she had been lined up to co-host the ceremony with Jamaican DJ Spragga Benz. Day 2 of the Essence Music Festival went down on this past Friday in New Orleans at the Superdome. Sony recording artists Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Robin Thicke took the stage to perform concerts. Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton was there as well, in addition to Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry, and a few others. Photos from day 3 to follow very soon! Check back!
Solange must be trying to outdo KANYE WEST because homegirl threw another birthday party celebrating her 21st birthday in New Orleans during the Essence Music Festival weekend at Generations Hall. She looked like she had a pretty damn good time!

Sean Kingston has posted an all new song, “Me Love,” on his official MYSPACE! The record is set to be the second single from the album Eyes Above Water dropping July 31st. Me likes “Me Love,” has this nice and mellow vibe to it. The song is basically about him in love with this girl, she moves on, and he’s still not over her quite yet. I’m really diggin all the joints I’ve heard so far from Sean and can’t wait for his album to drop!!

Wow, you can’t believe how pissed I was, to find out that none of these singles didn’t make Kelly’s album! Lol, so in actuality it turns out the “Still In Love With My X” and “Work (Put It In)” remixes did not make the cut unfortunately. I am so sorry about that, but I did put together a “Ms. Kelly Unreleased” version with it including the two remixes as well as the full quality to “Gotsta Go” Part 1 and 2, “Baby I Love U” - and hey! I just found out “You Will Win” is also NOT on the album … are ya jokin’? Nope! But luckily I’ve upped them all in their full entirety. =]
Now, there are still many unreleased tracks, none of which I will be posting, but I just decided to post these few in light of Kelly’s cd dropping today. Alright let me give you the scope, “Still In Love With My X (Remix)”; what ever happen to her “going back” and “reworking the album” to get back to her urban roots … cause I think she may have left this version out accidentally. “Work (Put It In)” w/Fat Joe; I have no idea why they left this out. “Gotsta Go”; Da Brat and E-V-E shut it down! I believe Part 1 is a bonus on Ms. Kelly? “Baby I Love U”; Strong message, so true indeed. “You Will Win”; My effin’ soundtrack to my life! All in all, I really wanted those remixes to make the album, that’s so booty what they did. Anyway, I digress, check out this “Throwback” of the day, Avant and Kelly Rowland - “SEPARATED REMIX”. Yeah, I guess it’s Kelly’s day today! Oh and I love, “you wait ’til I was sleep to call the damn police!” Best line ever.

The Essence Music Festival is underway! Last night’s performances from Ludacris, Ciara, Ruben Studdard, the Isley Brothers, and more was just the beginning of an amazing weekend to come. As we reported earlier in the week, the festival is back in New Orleans for the first time after Hurricane Katrina hit a couple of years ago. Tonight’s show will feature performances from Beyonce, Robin Thicke, and Chris Brown. The final show, which will be held tomorrow, will feature performances from Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Mary J Blige, and more! Check here for photos from all 3 days. But for now, you can check out the photos from last night! Senator Barack Obama was also there to speak on next year’s presidential election. Hilary Clinton will be speaking tonight.
Damn what the hell’s going on over at J Records, I swear if they push his album back one more time … I just think I might loose all my mind. But yeah, it’s that time again! I tired to say that as enthusiastic as possible, how hard is it to pick “Crying Out For Me” (notice I didn’t say single)? Haha! Now, here is your chance to help choose Mario’s second single from the anticipated album, Go! They might as well change the title to Stop cause the album ain’t going nowhere!
