I’ve always wondered who sung this new joint, it’s like in heavy rotation down here, I’m hearing it a lot all over the radio. “Easy” is the fourth single from PAULA DEANDA’s self-titled album. The album version features rapper Lil’ Wayne, but various radio stations play the single version, which replaces Wayne with Bow Wow - this is the Bow Wow I like! He doesn’t sound too much like Lil’ Wayne on here, boy must read the blogs.
I didn’t get a chance to post these yesterday, so I’m doing it today. Cool? Anyhow, Miami seems like it was the spot this weekend. I stumbled on some photos of Kim Kardashian “tootin that thang up” by the pool at a Miami hotel, and T.I. and Tiny leaving some club. I don’t know … I think I’m starting to believe those rumors of Kim Dash having butt implants. I don’t remember home girl having it like that! Check out more pics of Kim Dash, and the pics of T.I. & Tiny after the cut!
Here’s something nice someone came up with over at one of my favorite websites in the whole wide world - CRUNK & DISORDERLY.
“I am shocked that Ebony magazine did not include this couple in their annual black love issue. These two will last longer than Whitney And Bobby.” — Drewfizzle
LOL, you can’t do anything but laugh, nod your head, and agree…
I had to throw out my original idea for the “Hairspray” contest. It didn’t get the kind of buzz I wanted, so I just made it a regular old fashion giveaway where you fill out your information and hit submit. That’s all you have to do to enter this contest. Those of you who already entered the contest before today are still eligible to win. But for those who haven’t, make sure you click the link below! Any woman from any country (you have to be at least 13 years old) is eligible to enter the contest, so whatcha waitin for???
EFF DIDDY, KIM PORTER WANTS THAT PAPER! » Kim Porter, who just recently called it quits with her longtime boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs is already taking the brotha to court to discuss what kind of child support she’ll be getting. And if she gets what she wants, she’s pretty much set for the next 18 years (or the rest of her life if she knows what to do with the money). Apparantly, Diddy is already paying $30,000/mo in child support to his first baby mama, Misa Hylton-Brim (Justin’s mom). So you put the math together, $30k a child = about $90,000. But Kim’s shooting for over $100,000! Dang!
“With Misa Hyton-Brim receiving approximately $30,000 a month, there is no reason that Ms. Porter shouldn’t be able to get close to $100,000 or more per month in child support,” celebrity divorce lawyer Raoul Felder told Page Six. “That amount accounts for Porter having three children with Combs and inflation in the years since Misa received the ruling in her case.”
Diddy’s gonna go broke dating these women and having babies by them! CONTINUE READING

Fantasia is doing big things! She has a hot single out, and she’s doing her thing in Broadway as well, starring as Ms. Ceelie in the Broadway rendition of “The Color Purple.” Word has it that she will continue on Broadway until January 2008, instead of October 2007. I don’t care what anyone says, to this day, Fantasia is pretty much the only American Idol who truly has MADE IT all around! Congratz to Fantasia! Check out some photos of a recent appearance on Good Morning America, where she performed “When I See You.” CLICK HERE to check out a video of that performance… Check out the rest of this past weekend’s “Weekend Update” after the cut!! You know her voice within the first three notes of a song. Possessing one of the most recognizable, distinct voices in contemporary music, popular singer/songwriter Lil Mo, affectionately known as the Godmother of Hip-Hop and R&B, will release her anticipated new CD, “Pain and Paper†on August 28th, via her own Honeychild Inc., distributed by Koch Entertainment. Leading the charge to introduce Lil Mo’s stellar third CD is the bouncy midtempo song, “Sumtimes I†featuring Jim Jones. Destined to become a Summer smash, the track is accompanied by a video, which was filmed in Atlanta and directed by Gabriel Hart.
“Pain and Paper†will also feature a daring remake of the Shirley Murdock classic “Husband.†Lil Mo, ably assisted by producer Troy Taylor, treated that soulful tune to a complete makeover, replacing its former slow, brooding arrangement with a lighter and airier, yet equally engaging sound. “My Youngin,†which features rapper Da Brat, cleverly deals with the social and emotional nuances of a May/December romance, while pain is the star of the track “One 4 The Road,†in which Lil Mo’s vocals masterfully expose the all-too-familiar frustration of emotionally investing in a hopeless romance. Lil Mo’s “Lucky Her†delves into finding the right love at the wrong time, only to discover that they finally get it right—with someone else! “Pain and Paper†is a no-holds-barred lyrical journey into the soul of the experiences that have transformed Lil Mo from a girl into a woman. The album also features production by award-winning producer Bryan Michael Cox, on “Heartbeat.†CONTINUE READING
Yeah, my bad. I know that title was a little confusing on account of me using “her” as the pronoun and all. So I threw in “Remy Ma.” Anyhow, Remy Ma turned herself in on Saturday and was immediately taken into police custody. Smart move, Remy! Your ass can’t hide anywhere … you’re too damn distinctive! There’s only one bitch I know with a deep ass man voice and poodle hair … with a gold piece up front. Just as soon as they post up that hideous picture of you with a “Wanted” tag on it, you were gone! Anyhow, home girl did the predictable and plead “not guilty.” Yeah, you didn’t shoot her. She just ran into the bullet! I feel you on that one Remy. That happens to me all the time when people get on my nerves. When I was in elementary school, I had a scuffle with a classmate over who ate my gram crackers. I know he knew who did it, and he wouldn’t give up the dirt! So home boy accidentally ran into a pair of scissors. I still to this day think he ate my damn cookies! But I digress…
It has also been confirmed that the shooting was over $2,000 like we previously reported. Apparantly, the 2 Gs was missing from Mr. Martin’s purse, and the last person with her purse was her longtime friend (of 15 years folks), Makeda Barnes-Joseph, who professed her innocence. Remy didn’t wanna hear it. The altercation went to the street where Makeda proceeded to get into her car, and Remy opened the door and shot her in the stomach … twice. Makeda is in the hospital right now (in stable condition) and has identified Remy as the shooter. Remy, you’re going down! Sheezus Khrist!
According to PEOPLE our girl Kelly Rowland collapsed onstage early Sunday in Lagos, Nigeria, where she had been performing as a part of overseas promotion for her new album “Ms Kelly” - and for the ThisDay Festival. It was apparantly caused by dehydration, which her rep, Yvette Noel Schure later confirmed in a statement. Kelly was taken to a hospital in Lagos, and was reported to be in “good condition.” I’m glad she’s okay, I know that must have been scary for people in the crowd! Check out a video I found on youtube above… Scary stuff!
That which is Janelle Monae, her new cd Metropolis Suite I: The Chase, will be released in stores and on iTunes August 21st according to her site, which has a whole new look now! Also for all you JM fans that want to be seen you can apply HERE to get cast in the new video “Violent Stars Happy Hunting!” - how dope is that? And please be on the lookout for a post interview with the star prior to the cd release!
Love the song, hate the video. My all time favorite song and video would have to be “All Good Things (Come To A End)” but, this is like what the … sixth video already? I guess you can’t expect too much, but I do love the whole Pop 80’s vibe, let me find out Missy is on the remix … let me find out.
“Bleed It Out” is slated to become the second single from Linkin Park’s Minutes To Midnight, although this is a really good single, I really wished they would just release “Given Up” already gosh! And say anything bad about LP, you will get e-slapped.
