What famous reality star is this chilling with Lil’ Wayne at his birthday party last night? I wouldn’t call her a ho, but she sure does get around! I guess she’s trying to make sure those 15 seconds of fame don’t run out. And so far … they haven’t! CONTINUE READING
This was a HUGE disappointment, her people skipped out on “Rehab” for this? THIS!? I was at least expecting something groundbreaking and raw … like running Ne-Yo over with a car or becoming a cokehead, something! Ok, the video isn’t that bad…

Lisa Raye partied it up last night at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Cali to celebrate her 40th birthday bash. Home girl looking BANGING! She doesn’t look 40 years old at all. I’d hit… Oh yeah, that cake was pretty fly too. They had a little “Studio 40″ theme going on. And check out the hoo-has on Nicole Murphy! o_O And one more thing. I just CANNOT let this slide. I’ve said it once, I’ve said it twice, and I’ve probably even said it a third time. Somebody, anybody … PLEASE remind Da Brat that she is a girl! Either that or just advise her to come out of that closet of hers. She looks so sexy when she dresses up like a FEMALE. Wanna know what else went down this weekend? Check out everything else after the cut!CONTINUE READING
My two favorite songs by my two favorite artists! First up we have the video premiere of Alicia’s “No One” from her forthcoming album As I Am, I have always loved this song, I don’t know how she puts so much feeling into her art! The video is naturally beautifully. Next we have Nicole’s “Baby Love,” featuring as well as produced by will.I.am, the video is just how I expected it to be. I don’t know if that’s a good thing … but I love it! It correlates with the song beautifully, I have no cons. Her Name Is Nicole hits stores November 6th while As I Am hits stores November 13th!CONTINUE READING

Rap mogul Master P and his son Romeo (collectively here as the Miller Boyz) have set out on a journey to change the landscape of hip-hop through their new, clean-lyrics label, Take A Stand Records. With Hip-Hop History, the label’s first release, the duo prove once again that they are a force to be reckoned with. P’s self-reflective “My Life” lays much of the grand-work for the album while radio-friendly “Be Like U” bursts forth from the record with enough intensity to top the charts.
I know this is looooong overdo, but I’m a man of my word. So as promised, here’s our exclusive sit-down with Master P and Romeo, collectively known as “The Miller Boyz.” Click the link below to check out the interview! As always, you have the option of either reading the interview, or listening to it … or both! And comments are disabled on this post, so please leave all comments/feedback on the interview page.
This is NLT’s video for “She Said, I Said,” from their upcoming debut album Not Like Them. The song was produced by King Logan of The Royal Court. Although BOY BANDS ARE O-V-A! (Justin Timberlake made that very clear!) I’m actually feelin’ these guys but, they are signed to Marques Houston’s TUG Entertainment, there is no hope for them - I might get their album because Timbaland’s on it….

Above is said to be the official album cover to J. Holiday’s 2007 debut Back Of My Lac. The LP will include the R&B smash “Bed,” written by The-Dream. Despite half of the album already leaked, I am very much anticipating its release, so far the material is solid. Back Of My Lac hits stores October 2 and if I stand corrected so is Mario’s album. In other R&B news, J. Holiday recently did a feature with Yahoo! Music’s WHO’S NEXT? Ch-check it out!

Leaving your 2-month-old daughter with your cleaner for four days while you get hitched in Las Vegas doesn’t sound like great parenting skills, even by Hollywood standards. But that’s the claim made by the former housekeeper of Melanie Brown, who is involved in a rumored $9 million child support battle with baby-daddy Eddie Murphy. Tonia Lamere says Spice Girl Mel B left young Angel Iris with her while she eloped to Sin City with Stephen Belafonte.
“One evening of baby-sitting turned into four days!” Lamere tells Star magazine. “The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby.” Lamere also claims she was forced to buy food for baby Iris and her older half-sister (Phoenix Chi, 8) out of her own pocket during the four days Brown was away. Brown’s rep, however, says the whole story smells of green. “Melanie is a hands-on mother completely dedicated to the upbringing of her children and the well-being of her entire family,” she told us yesterday. “Any fictitious accusations to the contrary stem from greedy people looking to make a buck.” [ NY DAILY NEWS ]
With Kanye West’s “Graduation” (Def Jam) having trumped 50 Cent’s “Curtis” (G-Unit/Interscope) in debut week sales, Def Jam honchos Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Jay-Z are celebrating. But they acknowledge West’s numbers (957,000) were bolstered by the competition, and that another sales war is not in their plans.
JAY-Z: We all know that the battle was a one-off. That’s not a template on how to do business. We know that we have challenges ahead of us [in regards to the industry's downturn] but we also know that the consumption of music is at an all-time high as well.
L.A. REID: I am really optimistic about the state of the industry. When you look at these numbers, if I add in [West's] catalog sales, he’s sold 1 million records in one week. That seemed to be a thing of the past and everyone had written it off, saying that people no longer bought albums in these numbers.
50 CENT: I am very excited to have participated in one of the biggest album release weeks in the last two years. Collectively, we have sold hundreds of thousands of units in our debut week. This marks a great moment for hip-hop music, one that will go down in history.
We are all very aware of Beyonce’s love for blonde lacefronts, so when she tries something new (hence the photo above) it takes us all by surprise! Here she can be seen rocking a new dark hairdo at GQ Magazine’s 50th Anniversary Party in New York last week. Now, we must ask you, the readers: If you had the opportunity to tell Beyonce to her face how her new ‘do looked, would you tell her to STOP or would you tell her to GO? Leave your comments and take the poll!
It seems like everybody these days wants to get their hands on the perfume market. But if all of these recent reports I’m hearing about Usher’s perfume smelling worse than DOG SHIT ON A HOT SUMMER DAY are true … then Usher, homie, please stick to marrying men and making hit records! Mmk? Credit for the video goes to my homegirl Erika over at USHERFOREVER.COM!

Nicole Scherzinger feat. will.I.am » “Baby Love” » LISTEN » (Full) » Here is the HQ version of singer Nicole’s second single, featuring as well as produced by will.I.am, entitled “Baby Love”. It’s a nice stringy guitar ballad, I think this shows Nicole’s vocal range more than the previous singles she had, this was one of the few tracks I loved from her album. will.I.am was a nice addition as well, speaking of him, I did a crazy review on his latest (Songs About Girls), check it out HERE!
The-Dream » “Falsetto” » LISTEN » (Full) » This is a new track from writer The-Dream entitled “Falsetto,” wow I’m actually diggin this joint, it takes me back to those R. Kelly days (NO I’m not too young to know about R. Kelly)! Look out for the exclusive interview Dustin did with The-Dream in the upcoming week! Shouts go out to A HOT MESS, my other favorite blog, for the track! =p
Omarion feat. Bow Wow » “Hood Star” » LISTEN » (Full) » “Hood Star” is believed to be the first single lifted from the Face Off album with Omarion and Bow Wow. Hmm, this is pretty good, maybe a little better than “Designated Driver”. I can honestly say I have nothing bad to say about Bow Wow, I know, I’m surprised too! =-o
