Oct.03.2007 // A Group of White College Students Mock the Jena 6 Case!

A group of white Louisiana college students dressed in mud and reenacted the “Jena 6″ assault while a friend snapped photos and videotaped the ignorant act. Images were later posted to one of the participant’s Facebook page. The photos were taken late last month on the bank of the Ouachita River, where students from the University of Louisiana at Monroe giddily acted out the racial attack. Kristy Smith, a freshman nursing student, posted the pictures and video on her Facebook page. The album of images was entitled “The Jena 6 on the River.” In the video, three students with mud smeared across their bodies stomp on a fourth student, while two of the participants are heard to say, “Jena 6.” One man can also be heard saying, “Niggers put the noose on.” Check out a video of the incident (courtesy of THERUNDOWN.TV) after the cut. BRITNEY MIGHT HAVE TO START PAYING CH-SUP! » For all of you out there scratching your heads wondering wtf “ch-sup” is … it’s short for child support! Lol. Anyhow, if you’ve been living on planet earth the past few weeks, you’ll know that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have been a part of a nasty custody battle. Fortunately for Kevin, and unfortunately for Britney, custody of their two sons, Preston and Jaden, was granted to their father, Kevin Federline. Commissioner Scott M. Gordon did not say why he took the action or say how long Spears would be denied custody. But two weeks ago, he said there was evidence that Spears was “a habitual, frequent and continuous” user of drugs and alcohol. He ordered her to submit to twice-weekly drug and alcohol testing, undergo co-counseling with Federline and receive parent coaching. The parental coach was ordered to report back to the court later this month, ahead of a November 26th court date. So … does that mean Kevin will be getting child support from Brit?? Damn! Oct.01.2007 // ALBUM REVIEW: Jennifer Lopez - Brave

Jennifer Lopez drops her fifth English album, Brave, next week. The album features the singles “Do It Well,” including the remix with Ludacris, and “Hold It, Don’t Drop It”.

I was highly disappointed. Believe me, I’m a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, but this was little to no effort.

Overused samples, shot vocals, poor editing … I think, with Lopez, everything fell short into blandness.

BOTTOM LINE: Over all, I wasn’t impressed at all. Brave was very lackluster and not enough BOOM KAT! Jennifer Lopez’s new album Brave hits stores October 9th, buy at your own will.
