At first, I really could not believe it — M.I.A. artist of the week — dubbed by MTV. Weren’t they the ones who tried to get her banned though? Whatever the case, I’m really happy, becos she truly deserves the recognition. I believe she is one of the many underdogs of this industry, so you can’t even imagine how I felt about this. THIS is big for HER! M.I.A. is simply the shit, I cannot stress this enough, Doc.

at first, i couldn’t get into her, but now I’m hooked. I love her style and her music. She’s very unique and she really deserved some kind of recognition for her out-of-the-box work.
