Michael Jackson’s Thriller 25

The King of all that is Pop, Michael Jackson, returns with Thriller 25, Thriller - 25th Anniversary Edition is a special 25th anniversary edition of the album Thriller by Michael Jackson. Thriller, released in 1982, was and still is the world’s best selling album to date. Michael Jackson not only started a trend but a phenomenon, influencing many artists for over a decade. If there were no Michael Jackson, there would be no Usher, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Sterling Simms, the list goes on and on. Michael Jackson will always be relevant in all that is pop, this is apparent, no if’s, and’s, or but’s about that.

You know, when I think about it too, I have always been more of a MJ lover than Prince (no disrespect, none, sir). Mike just has that charisma and stage presence about him, and yes I know your going to say, “but he doesn’t play an instrument!” FOOL! His body is an instrument! Just imagine Michael Jackson on stage with an “instrument,” it would be so, beneath him.

Anyway, I digress (somewhat, I lost myself). Oh! With this special edition of Thriller you can look forward to brand new material, including five remixes of original material featuring Akon, Fergie, Kanye West, and producer will.i.am ftw! Now, I have to admit, some of these songs they shouldn’t have messed with just for the fact of definitiveness. BUT I do love most of will.i.am’s work (”P.Y.T.” and “The Girl is Mine”) and Akon’s (”Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”) mixes.

gimme MOAR!?

The Beginning is a forthcoming solo debut album from Pussycat Doll singer and songwriter Melody Thornton. The album will have collaborations with Chingy, Nicole Scherzinger, Pharrell, Marques Houston, and producers such as Darkchild, Timbaland, Will.i.am, and Pharrell Williams. The album was to be released in January 2008, but is now delayed due to Thornton’s work on the new Pussycat Dolls album.

Kevin, What exactly are you talking about, I’ve only posted this two times. You sound very ignorant and where in that post did I disrespect Prince, I respect him and Michael equally, and Michael Jackson was ahead of his time; he’s also been active in his music career since the 70’s so he’s been going much longer than Prince. And how is he NOT relevant in music today? That Mary J. Blige single, “Just Fine,” has Michael Jackson all over it, Sterling Simms, Chris Brown, Will.i.am, everybody! Michael Jackson is idolized and thought of highly in the music industry, this is so apparent today. And I’m all for opinions and expressing yourself but for you to make personal attacks at me, as well as Michael Jackson, and to go about it so childish is beneath me. And you don’t have to visit this site if you don’t want to, no one’s making you and I don’t really care to argue with an idiot at this time. Please grow up.

» COMMENTING DO'S & DON'TS

  • DO: Speak your mind. All of it! We're not like those other blogs who over-moderate comments and delete people's opinions just because they don't agree with what their readers have to say.
  • DO: Stay on topic. If the post is about the BET Awards, don't come in here talking about what you're cooking for dinner or what happened at work today.
  • DON'T: Bash the contributors of this blog. We created this nice place for you, so the least you can do is show us a little respect. It's not cool to bash the commenters either.
  • DON'T: Just post "First!" as a comment and leave it at that. Yes, it's fun being first, and we understand that. But at least post a comment to go along with that. Comments with just that one word in it will be automatically deleted.
  • DON'T: Link to your site, or to other sites, in your comment. If you want to promote your site, the best way to do that would be to purchase some ad space, or resort to the cheaper alternative - request to be added to the blogroll. If you have something that might be of interest to the contributors, e-mail it to us. Don't post it here.
  • DON'T: Be a nuisance, and don't cause unnecessary drama. We can tell the difference between someone just stating their God-honest opinion and someone who has too much free time on their hands.
  • Comment moderation is enabled (to prevent spammers) so it may take a while for your comment to appear. There's no need to submit it twice. If you include more than 2 links in your comment, your comment will AUTOMATICALLY be held for moderation.
