Video Premiere: Jay-Z - “I Know”

Here’s the brand new video for Jay-Z’s newest single, “I Know,” off of his latest album, “American Gangster.” I’m glad he released this as a single. This song has got to be one of the best songs off of the album. The video’s pretty cool too, despite the fact that Jay-Z himself doesn’t even appear in it. I’m going to have to watch it again to understand what’s going on though, cause I’m a little lost. I hate when video concepts fly right over my head… I feel like I’m watching “Flashing Lights” all over again, lol!

i love such videos!!!! and i think the concept is to basically show that even though the girl didn’t have the money back then she was happy and that now that she has everything else she isn’t have and “she wants that old thing back” and basically no one else knows what she likes. Is that zoe kravitz by the way?

Yes, Thats Zoe. The video seemed pretty clear to me too. No where near confusing as “Flashing Lights”.

All 4 girls (even thought all Zoe) have different vices. Her boyfriend, the music, artificial.
The fisrt Zoe looked like she was in need of drugs but as it shows she was in need of her man. In the video notes it says that they are all different and in no way do the charecters have a connection.

Yeah, I watched the video in a hurry because I had to run out for a minute. After watching it a second time, it’s not so confusing lol. I didn’t even realize that was Zoe!
