Celebrity Divorce Court: Star Jones/Al Reynolds and Swizz Beatz/Mashonda

(Photo: Getty Images) Television personality Star Jones has had enough of having her “husband” Al Reynolds live off of her, so the two have been separated for a while. She’s been living in New York, while he’s been living in Miami. Well now, after 3 years of marriage, Star has finally said enough is enough and has filed for divorce. They actually filed on March 26th, but Star revealed it to the public today (Apr. 23rd).

“Al was never there for Star,” a friend of hers said. “He hasn’t made any money in the last three years. He has been living off of her.”

Rapper/producer Swizz Beatz and his wife, singer Mashonda, have officially called it quits - in the form of separation and NOT divorce - after a 4 year marriage, reports All Hip Hop.

“Their union was one shared in love and deep admiration for one another. For the last seven months, the two have been working on establishing a formidable friendship, being great parents to their son, and remaining great supporters of each other’s careers,” a representative revealed to All Hip Hop. “The couple has asked that their privacy be respected at this time.”

The couple has a 2-year-old son together, Kassem Dean Jr., and if divorce does end up being a solution, they will remain friends and supporters of each other’s future endeavors, a la Kimora & Russell. Swizz is working on his second album, and Mashonda is working on an album of her own as well, in addition to an upscale swimwear line.
