I don’t know how they do it, and how long it takes them, but someone (or a team) from AOL Black Voices goes through the top black entertainment blogs and peruse through their comments and pull the best out of the best and highlight them on their site in a feature named Blog for Blog. Well AOL BV picked Los’ comment on a post Kennesha made a while back about girls wearing sneakers with dresses. Congratz to Los for getting mentioned, and thanks to AOL for recognizing us!
Jermaine Dupri’s baby-sitter, Janet Jackson, took some time off of her 24 hour job of tending to little JD to appear at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Hollywood Saturday night (Apr. 26th). Of course she had to run home after she did her duty at the ceremony because child neglect charges aren’t something anyone wants on their record!

The Phoenix Suns become optimistic in Game 4 by winning their first game last night. The won by 19 points (105-86), but the San Antonio Spurs is still leading (3-1). Top performer of the Suns, Raja Bell, had 27 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. Shaquille O’ Neal had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assists. Steve Nash, who had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, said at the end of the game:
“A lot of woulda coulda shouldas,” Steve Nash continued. “But we’re still alive, and we played well in San Antonio and haven’t got a win yet. So we want to go down there with a very optimistic attitude.”

(Photos: Getty Images / NBA)Josh Smith was dunking happy Saturday night on the Boston Celtics. The Atlanta Hawks now gaining some lead way (1-2). The Hawks won by a 9-point lead (102-93). Top performer of the game, Josh Smith, had 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists. Smith was proud about this successful game they needed. He states:
“My heart was racing, I was so excited,” said Smith, who certainly did his part by dunking five times on the Celtics. “I wanted to give the city of Atlanta something to cheer about.”
Kevin Garnett scored 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists for the Celtics. Paul Pierce added 17 points and 8 assists. The Celtics still lead these series but the Hawks are gaining. They’ll settle this score in Game 4.
Who featuring who and who? Lol, exactly. I tried my damnedest to avoid this video, but I finally decided to sit down and watch it. I saw it posted on several of my favorite blogs, and RODOL’d from the comments, but I never took the time to peep the vid for myself.
Above all, I must say, the editing of the video is pretty damn good! Much better than some of these “official videos” from “official artists” funded by “official labels.” The lyrics are funny as hell too! This is obviously not safe for work… Homegirl with the doo-doo braids singing on stage had me ROLLING! She just looks like she’s really into singing the hook. She even forgot to put the mic up to her face at one point (oops!). Anyway, if you’re looking for a good laugh, check out the video when you get a chance.

Atlanta’s Luckie Lounge was host to the 11th Annual BMI Atlanta Unsigned Urban Showcase, which featured performances from Lil’ Wayne, Sean Garrett and Teyana Taylor. But Usher, Lil Scrappy, Polow Da Don, Lil John, and a host of celebrities (from Atlanta and beyond) came out just to party!

The Cavs took the victory by a final 3-point shot (100-97). LeBron was booed everytime the ball touched his hand today but that still didn’t stop him. King James had 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Delonte West, who scored the final 3-point shot of the game, had 21 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. The Cavs still lead (3-1).
The Denver Nuggets can seem to get it right. I don’t know if it’s intimidation of Kobe Bryant or what. The L.A. Lakers win a another victorious game last night by 18 (102-84). The stats are now in the Lakers favor with their own winning rampage (3-0). Top player of last night’s game has to be Kobe Bryant. Kobe scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists.Pau Gasol had 14 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds. Lamar Odom had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Allen Iverson was disappointed about the loss and knows he wasn’t on his best skills last night. Iverson had a total of 15 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. A.I. said after the game:
“I was getting to the basket, I just wasn’t finishing.” Ivo added, “And the same thing happened to ‘Melo’.”
JD1472 also known as Jermaine Dupri posted a video on YouTube of a new track from Nelly featuring Ciara, “Steppin’ On My Jays” from his upcoming album Brass Knuckles (Derrty/Universal) I get the feel that this is his sequel to his song, Air Force Ones. I can’t wait to see the music video to this track. I’m pretty sure this is the second single or J.D. wouldn’ve posted it. Click play on this video above.

A new YouTube video has leaked over the internet of Chris Brown dancing raw with dancers behind him. The music in the background isn’t a Chris Brown song but it is Michael Jackson. The only video I can see him recording is his new single, “Forever”, to be on the re-release of Exclusive. Check out the video above. CB is a serious dancer.
