In a recent interview with DJBooth.net, One Chance states that they’ll be going on tour with Janet Jackson. Now I don’t know how true this is but I wanna know when their debut album, Private, is gonna hit stores. Janet is supposedly going on tour in September. There are no official tour dates yet. Wow lol, I prematurely titled yesterday’s post about the break-ups between Star Jones & Al Reynolds, and Swizz Beatz & Mashonda “Celebrity Divorce Court.” And ironically, today, news breaks about Juanita Bynum appearing on two episodes of Divorce Court, a real-life court show.
In a special two-part episode of “Divorce Court,” televangelist Juanita Bynum will confirm that she is completely through with her marriage to minister Thomas W. Weeks III, who is currently on probation for beating her in a hotel parking lot. In episodes scheduled to air Thursday and Friday, Bynum says she and Weeks are not planning to reconcile, and in fact, she is “done” with the entire relationship.
“I can’t speak for him, but I no longer want the marriage,” she told Judge Lynn Toler. Weeks’ divorce attorney, Randy Kessler, said on Tuesday that the divorce is moving forward and a mediation date is scheduled for May 13. “It’s hard to have kids in this world,” she told the British version of OK! Magazine. “I don’t think I could properly educate a child right now. People.com broke the story at about 12:25 PM yesterday afternoon, stating that the actor hadn’t been seen since early Tuesday morning. The 20-year-old actor reportedly left his manager’s house around 10:20 A.M. to make a quick trip to a local 7-Eleven and never returned. Oh, and did we mention his manager was Ricky Romance? Does that name ring a bell? Yes … no?
About 8 hours later People reported that the actor had turned up and apologized to his fans for the disappearance, stating that he simply “needed to be alone.” I can understand wanting to be alone, but c’mon dude. You could’ve sent a text message to your people telling them this. All of the hoopla that was caused wasn’t even necessary.

Jay-Z left Kanye’s afterparty at GOA nightclub the other night in LA looking rather pissed. I wonder what’s going on. A bad day, maybe? After a lot of picking and prodding by the paps, who kept “congratulating” Jay-Z on his recent marriage to longtime girlfriend Beyonce, the hip-hop mogul snapped at them in a raspy voice saying, “Stop talking to me … you know better than that.” Well, needless to say, they shut up lol.
I don’t usually judge celebrities when they snap back at the paparazzi because we’re all human, and we’re all entitled to a bad day or two. Hell, if I were having a bad day and some fool was flashing lights all in my face and asking about my private life, saying what Jay said would’ve been considered “nice!”

No one could stop Kobe Bryant last night, scoring 19 points within a time span of 4:19 of the 4th quarter. K.B. had a total of 49 points and 10 assists. Pau Gasol had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Walton had 18 points. Opponent Allen Iverson responded after the game:
“Tonight, the way he was going, we probably could’ve put 10 people on the court and probably wouldn’t have been able to stop him [Kobe].”

Usher’s album record sales are looking better and better everyday. He has a remix to his hit single, “Love In This Club” featuring Beyoncé and Lil’ Wayne. He’s calling it “Part II”, I wonder if there is more of these “parts” to this single. Then again, J.D. did mention possible featured tracks from Beyoncé and many others. She’s been living in New York, while he’s been living in Miami. Well now, after 3 years of marriage, Star has finally said enough is enough and has filed for divorce. They actually filed on March 26th, but Star revealed it to the public today (Apr. 23rd).
“Al was never there for Star,” a friend of hers said. “He hasn’t made any money in the last three years. He has been living off of her.”
If you’re an Aussie and you wanted to celeb-watch, then today would have been the perfect day! Sydney International Airport in Sydney, Australia was apparently the landing spot for rappers Wyclef Jean, Eve, and 50 Cent. They all are in the “down under” for the 2008 MTV Australia Awards, which will go down this Saturday (Apr. 26th).
The New Orleans Hornets win game 2 against the Dallas Mavericks. Chris Paul was hungry for points last night leading the Hornets into every quarter with the winning score. Chris Paul had 32, playoff record of 17 assists, with the dominating winning score (127-103). David West had 27 and Peja Stojakovic had 22 points. At the end of the game reporters asked Chris Paul if there was a way Dallas could stop him, he replied:
“I’m sure there is, but to me, I hope not.” he continued “One thing I’ve learned this season and watching these games is that you have to be aggressive. If I sit back and let them trap me, then they succeed with what they need to do.
There’s a new artist on the scene and has the internet buzzing already. His name is LOVE AOK! and I gotta tell you that his sound is hot!!! He’s listed as a multi-talented artist that produces, writes, sings, and rap his own music. He’s unsigned right so record labels watch out for him. On his MySpace page he lists some of his influences, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, TImbaland, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. You can also catch him on imeem.com and listen to some of his recorded tracks. The paps caught a drunk, lost and confused Amy Winehouse outside of her England home last night. Apparently after her night on the town, homegirl had lost her keys and couldn’t get into her house. So a friend had to help her break into her own house by manually raising the garage. What would Amy do without those friends of hers…
