Ne-Yo Go-Go (His stage name in the video) like many other stars, got his start by appearing on Showtime at the Apollo . Even though Ne-Yo’s group was basically booed throughout their entire performance, it was cool to see Ne-Yo doing something other than Micheal Jackson inspired dance moves. Former American Idol contestant Corey Clark (Snow) was also spotted. Shout-Out to Ashley for sending this one in!
As you all may or may not know … I like to spotlight a lot of dope unsigned, indie and/or underground artists on the site! This purpose is to keep music peeps well-rounded and up-to-date on what’s going on in their community. So, here are a few MySpace pages I visit in my spare time (3 (of the 4) acts I’ve featured already).
Tokyo Diva, residing in NYC, is a young lady who is not only a talented artist and trendsetter, starting an underground movement called The Juice Krew (based in NY and outside areas), but she is also a MySpace Guru receiving more than 1,000 music plays a day on MySpace. Tokyo was also the first unsigned artist to perform on MTV’s TRL and she created the theme song Bad Girls for the hit TV show on Oxygen, Bad Girls Club. Thanks Christine for the info!! The San Antonio Spurs win Game 6 at home against the New Orleans Hornets. CP3 didn’t come through like I wish he did but he had a pretty good game overall. The Spurs did take the win by 11 (99-80). Tony Parker had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Duncan stated how he felt about the stakes of these series played between the Hornets’:
“We know what we’re facing. We’re facing elimination,” Duncan said. “And we know we have to put a good game together there. … We’re going to take it in there and it’s do-or-die.”

Kobe Bryant scored 26 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds to lead the series (3-2). Kobe responded on the win last night and he said:
“I just had to pick my spots,” he said. “I knew I wasn’t 100 percent healthy, so I wanted to get us off to a good start, give us an emotional boost. Then in the third quarter, there were moments where I had to pick it up, and I was able to do that. And in the fourth quarter, Lamar [Odom] and Pau [Gasol] took it from there.”

(Photos: TMZ) The knock-out heard ’round the world! Hip-hops version of Deebo (from Friday) got what was coming to him over the weekend outside of a nightclub in Los Angeles. Former Deathrow records CEO Suge Knight got into a little altercation with some guy at Shag nightclub Saturday night over some money. A spy from the omnipresent TMZ overheard Suge say: “I want my money!” So he and his goonz apparently jumped the guy and beat him to the ground. But outside, the story changed when the guy hit Suge with a right hook, knocking the big guy out cold for a little under 5 minutes!

The very beginning of the video for N*E*R*D*’s latest single, Everyone Nose, displays a URL: EveryoneNose.com. So you know my curious ass had to check it out to see what was up. Unfortunately, I’ll have to wait until tomorrow, because the splash page is a blank black page with the words “COME BACK TOMORROW ;-).” So curiosity got the best of me once again, as I right-clicked and “viewed the source.” And the description in one of the meta tags (you’d have to be html/code literate to know what the hell that is) reads:
“Everyonenose.com features uncensored photos and videos from the new n.e.r.d. music video everyonenose.”
So I’m guessing the site will feature uncensored photos and videos from the new n.e.r.d. music video everyonenose. Yes that’s me. Mr. Obvious. But anyway, check out N*E*R*D*’s new video above, which features a cameo from Hollywood’s biggest cokehead, Lindsay Lohan! And if you didn’t already know, the song is a tribute to ladies who … snort coke. Duh, everyone NOSE!
Jayceon “The Game” Taylor covers the July 2008 issue of The Source Magazine. The Game has recently reached out to former G Unit member Young Buck to show his support.
In an interview last Friday, Buck said:
“To the homie Game. I’m aware of you reaching out. I haven’t gotten on no phone conversations and actually spoke to Game, but he’s reached out to a few people that’s around me just to show his support like, ‘Yo Buck, f**k whatever’s going on, I just wanna see your well being, as long as you aight.’ (He said) that type of thing.
‘That’s love and I ain’t even got that call from (remaining G-Unit members, Lloyd) Banks and (Tony) Yayo, and we ain’t got no issues with each other. The issue was from 50.”
Glad to see they could squash whatever “beef” they had going on.
