♫ Usher - “Trading Places” // “This Ain’t Sex”

Here are two brand new tracks from Usher’s forthcoming album, Here I Stand (Jive), which also will be releasing this Summer. Trading Places, produced by Tricky Stewart of course, would be nothing short of a Bed 2.0; it even has that heavy string allusion. Needless to say I love the song and this is definitely a good look for Usher. This Ain’t Sex is vibrant and rockable, this song reminds me of a something Scar would do, I really dig it!

trading places..

is mediocre, man. anyone could sing that. Bed 2.0, just like you said. Usher just isn’t extaordinary to me anymore..king of R&B my ass, he’s lost it to a certain extent.

-goes back to listen to the other track-

3.5 seconds in, it sounds like a Justin Timberlake track and im bored.

matter of fact..
that making the band whiteboy could sing that.

CB could sing that.

JT could sing it better than usher did..hell, t-pain could murder the song and it’d still be popular.

get it together usher, not impressed. not wowed. you don’t even get a raised eyebrow from this.

….okay, the song is pretty nice. (The second one) but still.

  • DO: Speak your mind. All of it! We're not like those other blogs who over-moderate comments and delete people's opinions just because they don't agree with what their readers have to say.
  • DO: Stay on topic. If the post is about the BET Awards, don't come in here talking about what you're cooking for dinner or what happened at work today.
  • DON'T: Bash the contributors of this blog. We created this nice place for you, so the least you can do is show us a little respect. It's not cool to bash the commenters either.
  • DON'T: Just post "First!" as a comment and leave it at that. Yes, it's fun being first, and we understand that. But at least post a comment to go along with that. Comments with just that one word in it will be automatically deleted.
