(PHOTO: GETTY IMAGES) No. 1 Chicago Bulls draft pick, Derrick Rose, is going to be sitting the rest of the 2008 NBA Summer League games because of straining tendinitis in his right knee. It looks like he won’t be playing again until the regular season starts in October 2008. Derrick Rose talked about his injury after the loss against the New Jersey Nets:
“It’s just tendinitis and nothing like, super bad with the knee,” said Rose, “They say it keeps happening because I’m young and my legs aren’t strong enough and they have to work on my legs.”
I never did get to see D-Rose murder the court and scoreboard but I guess we’ll have to see what’s in store for the new season. I knew it had to be a better explanation of why D-Rose wasn’t performing as well as he could have. I look forward to watching him when the new season starts.
Bow Wow just uploaded a new video of him and filming on the set of his new single and music video for “Marco Polo” featuring Soulja Boy. Bow Wow is set to release a new album, Pedigree, which is due in the 4th quarter of 2008. The new album is said to have big collaborations already. Jermaine Dupri, Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Nelly, Omarion, T-Pain and R. Kelly are all said to be on board with Bow Wow’s new album. This sounds like it’ll be better than the last album Bow Wow put out. Check out the video footage above!

LONDON // TUESDAY, JULY 8TH 2008 » Alicia Keys performed over in London at the O2 Arena and I know she killed it. Whenever Alicia performs live you get more than you expected from her voice and energy. She’s just one of those soul singers that you know she’ll give you your money’s worth. She has recently shot a video for one of my favorite vocal tracks, “Superwoman” (LIVE), from her album As I Am. Check out more pics from the show after the cut.
I was listening to my iPod once again and heard one of my favorite tracks, “Frontin’”, by Pharrell from The Neptunes compilation album, The Neptunes Present…Clones. I went to check out the video and peeped a girl that has actually been a lot of Pharrell’s videos, Lauren London! Check out how young LL looked was when this came out. Who knew she’d be so big! If you haven’t copped the new N*E*R*D*’s “Seeing Sounds” album go and check out! Enjoy the throwback of the day!
