And Music World Music does it again! I swear, that management team has some crazy ideas when it comes to marketing their talent. Most people do radio promos, interviews, and commercials, among other things. But no, not Mathew Knowles and the rest of his crew. They decided to leak a song Beyonce’s been working on because they knew that shit will spread like the bird flu in the Middle East. Had they leaked a song from Kelly, Michelle, or Solange … it probably wouldn’t have even seen the light of day. Sad … but true.
FROM Beyonceonline.com: Yesterday, “Beautiful Nightmare,” a demo I’ve been working on for possible inclusion on my next album, leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress. It is not my time to put out new music. If you really want to hear some really great music now, you have to support my girls Kelly, Michelle and my sister Solange. Kelly just re-released her album digitally in the US, so check out “Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe.” Michelle is about to put out the first single, “We Break The Dawn,” from her album and Solange’s single, “I Decided,” is already one of my favorites.

New music from Beyonce, apparently titled Beautiful Nightmare, thanks go out to Clips & Kisses! Beautiful Nightmare is a nice, melodic midtempo kinda song, it’s like an updated old school type of joint I’m feelin; the lyrics give me that vibe as well. This appears to be a Seven Aurelius production, so I’m lead to believe. If this is what Beyonce has in store for us then I can’t wait to hear more from this project!

ATHLETE MARION JONES BEGINS SERVING PRISON SENTENCE » Former Olympic gold-medal winner Marion Jones started her 6-month sentence behind bars in a federal prison in Texas on Friday, reports People. Jones arrived a little before noon at the Federal Medical Center-Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas.
As previously reported, the athlete will have to perform 800 hours of community service during her 6-month prison sentence. According to People, Jones, who used steroids distributed by the Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative – the same lab that supplied steroids to athletes who included New York Yankees star Jason Giambi – is the first professional sports figure to receive prison time. If you haven’t been vacationing under a rock, I’m sure you’ve heard about the “beef” Aretha Franklin has with Beyonce for referring to Tina Turner as “The Queen” at Sunday Night’s Grammys. Well now Beyonce’s dad and manager Mathew Knowles has thrown the media his 2 cents. Get ‘em Matt!
“As a manager I am not taking something this ridiculous to Beyonce. Beyonce referred to Tina Turner as a ‘queen. Not queen of gospel, queen of soul, queen of blues, Queen of England. I consider my wife a queen and sometimes call her that. Does Aretha have a problem with that?”
“ReRe the Body,” as my girl Fresh likes to call her, hasn’t been in the news a lot lately, as far as mainstream news & gossip goes, so maybe this is the perfect time for her to get her name out there. Smart move ReRe. You got us talking!

Well I have to say it has been a great evening/night for me with this year’s 50 Annual Grammys, especially with memorable performances like Kanye West performing “Stronger” and then giving a sincere tribute to his mother with the song “Hey Mama”. Other great performances at this year’s 50th Annual Grammy awards included Rihanna, Morris Day and The Time, Alicia Keys with Frank Sinatra, and of course Beyonce and Tina Turner. I thought this was a pretty dope performance too! Beyonce, another artist I stan for, shared the stage with the legendary Tina Turner last night at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The performance opened up with the “Deja Vu” beat, and Beyonce lip-synched a nice little intro to some of the women (in music) she looks up to. A nice touch. Then Tina Turner came out and did her thing with “What’s Love (Got to Do With It)” and some song I’ve never heard of (lol - sorry, all I know of Tina Turner is “What’s Love” and “Proud Mary” - plus a few songs from the movie with Angela Bassett & Lauwrence Fishbourne). She thanked the crowd, and out came BEYONCE! They both showed out with an amazing rendition of “Proud Mary.” Another unforgettable performance of the night. I swear, Youtube, Dailymotion, and all of those other video sites, are gonna crash tonight! Check out more photos from this performance after the cut. Oprah Winfrey tops the list, earning a whopping $260 million, Tiger Woods trails behind her at a distant $100 milion, and Jay-Z is right behind him with $83 million earned. The list also includes Beyonce (#9 at $27 million) and Kobe Bryant (#5 at $33 million). The list was determined off of earnings between June 2006 and June 2007. Check out the full list below!

Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna and Tina Turner are among the performers confirmed for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards, to be held February 10th 2008 at The Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Beyonce and Tina Turner are rumored to perform together, and the 2008 “Music Cares Person of the Year,” Aretha Franklin, will share the stage with Mary J. Blige, the Clark Sisters, Israel And New Breed, the Madison Bumblebees, and Trinity 5:7 for a gospel segment. And in a special 50th anniversary moment, Rihanna will perform with the Time, which is reuniting for the special occasion.

Another day, another rumor of Beyonce and Jay-Z getting married. You should know the drill by now. A British tabloid is claiming that the two tied the knot in front of family and friends during a secret wedding at Giorgio Armani’s house in Paris last month. All the guests were reportedly sworn to secrecy, and reps for the newlyweds have been emphatically denying rumors that the couple tied the knot. But a snitch revealed the rumors of a secret wedding are true.
It was a lovely, intimate ceremony and a very emotional wedding. They wanted to avoid all the usual fuss and attention that normally follows them everywhere and celebrate with the closest people in their lives. Beyonce, like always, looked absolutely radiant, and couldn’t stop smiling. The pair of them looked thrilled.
That same tabloid is also claming that Jay proposed to Beyonce during their vacation in the Mediterranean resort of Cannes, France, in May 2007. The snitch added to Britain’s News Of The World newspaper: “It was the wedding they both wanted. After all, they were getting married in the most romantic city in the world.”
