KANYE CELEBRATING HIS WIN OVER BEYONCE IN CONNECT 4
Beyonce’s apparently a legend when it comes to Connect 4, haha. According to Kanye West’s latest blog post, playing Connect 4 while on tour in Europe helped him to zone out a bit. And last night at Jay-Z’s new 40/40 club in Las Vegas, he got a chance to play the legendary Beyonce, who beat homeboy 9 times in a row! But he was able to get a win though, and of course he had to document the once-in-a-lifetime occasion with a photo! This past Friday, it was reported that Jay-Z wouldn’t be able to celebrate the opening of his new 40/40 club in Las Vegas this weekend because of the club not passing some kind of inspection test. But obviously, everything was cleared up and the party went on as planned. But eff the party! Check out the dude behind Jay-Z. If that ain’t a piercing side-eye, I don’t know what is. Maybe someone should teach Al Sharpton the PROPER way to throw your diamonds in the sky.
I came across some more photos of Jay-Z’s big “New Year’s Eve” concert (even though it was this past Saturday) at The Pearl in Las Vegas. Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Ne-Yo, Memphis Bleek, and Beanie Sigel all showed up and performed with Jay live on stage. Sounds like it was a pretty good show! More flicks after the break…
2007 is coming to a close, and we here at Think2wice thought it would be the perfect time to highlight some of the greatest moments, people, etc. of the past year! First up, is “Favorite Couples.” And you guessed it, Jay-Z and Beyonce are perched at the top of this list! These two cause a stir in the gossip blogs whenever their names are mentioned. It’s gotten to the point where we’ve given them one name … Jayonce. Despite both of their busy schedules, Jayonce still finds the time to spend time with each other, whether it be a sporting event, a week-long vacation, or just having dinner at one of NYC’s top restaurants. Recently, rumors sparked of the two being married after people spotted matching tattoos on their ring fingers (IV - “FOURever” ??), but those rumors were immediately shot down by one of Jay-Z’s reps. Who knows … they probably are married! Hell, didn’t Janet keep her marriage to that guy from the public for like 10 or more years? Anyhow, hate it or love it, Beyonce and Jay-Z are with each other for the long run, as long as they keep their relationship as private as it has been for the past 4 years. CONTINUE READING

So the 2007 Movies Rock! show went down last night (December 7th): a night of movies, fashion and music! Performances include Chris Brown, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Will.I.Am, Busta Rhymes, LL Cool J and Eve! It looked fun, I’d say my favorite performance would have to be Fergie Ferg with “Live and Let Die” (Guns N’ Roses), she did an amazing job and did that song much justice. Ooh, I also love Usher’s performance of Gene Kelly’s “Singing in the Rain” - great show! Really they ALL did a fantastic job, I’m so proud of everyone! I’m mad I missed it y’all! The 2007 American Music Awards went down last night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The show was telecast live on CBS and featured performances from Fergie, Chris Brown, Beyonce (and Sugarland), Rihanna & Ne-Yo, and more. Winners included Justin Timberlake, T.I., Akon, Rihanna, and Beyonce, who won the most prestigious honor of the night! Beyonce took home the “International Star of the Year” award, an honor only previously given to Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Rod Stewart. This makes her the first female to ever win that award, which was presented by Usher (who fumbled through 95% of it I might add lol — what’s on his mind??). Well it’s been quite a ride for pop sensation Justin Timberlake from the release of his sophomore effort FutureSex/LoveSounds (Jive/Zomba) last year to the FutureSex/LoveShow world tour he embarked on earlier this year (and apparently continuing through to November 26). Timberlake is set to release the FutureSex/LoveSounds Deluxe Edition (audio/DVD), with added material, including a subtle duet with mega star singer Beyoncé Knowles. The two disc set will be available sometime later on this year. Below you can hear “Sexy Back (Remix)” featuring Missy Elliott and “Sexy Ladies” featuring 50 Cent.

SHAUNIE: “I WANT TO SAVE OUR MARRIAGE” » Shaquille O’Neal’s divorce battle may be postponed, as his wife Shaunie Nelson has filed papers to the court denying that her marriage is irretrievably broken down. The basketball legend filed for divorce last month claiming that his wife had been “secretive about her assets … particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either (her) name alone or in other entities.” However, Nelson denies this secrecy stating that she has “nothing to hide.” The wife of Shaquille is asking the court to grant her a three-month continuance so that she can attempt to save her marriage and ignore her husband’s divorce application. BRITNEY MIGHT HAVE TO START PAYING CH-SUP! » For all of you out there scratching your heads wondering wtf “ch-sup” is … it’s short for child support! Lol. Anyhow, if you’ve been living on planet earth the past few weeks, you’ll know that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have been a part of a nasty custody battle. Fortunately for Kevin, and unfortunately for Britney, custody of their two sons, Preston and Jaden, was granted to their father, Kevin Federline. Commissioner Scott M. Gordon did not say why he took the action or say how long Spears would be denied custody. But two weeks ago, he said there was evidence that Spears was “a habitual, frequent and continuous” user of drugs and alcohol. He ordered her to submit to twice-weekly drug and alcohol testing, undergo co-counseling with Federline and receive parent coaching. The parental coach was ordered to report back to the court later this month, ahead of a November 26th court date. So … does that mean Kevin will be getting child support from Brit?? Damn! The PDD-produced track, entitled “Tell Me,” features R&B crooners Chris Brown and Mario. Although I think having a rapper and two singers on this type of track is highly unnecessary, surprisingly, I’m feelin’ it! Besides, this will be a great look for Chris, he can learned from Mario’s experience; and grow as an upcoming R&B singer himself. And I still think that Chris’ label should have released his forthcoming album the same time as Mario, just to play with it and see, you know? And fuel a good R&B competition, similiar to like what 50 and Kanye had, rather than releasing him during the most anticipating time in Hip-Hop (Jay-Z and Nas). [ THANKS KEVINNNNNN! ]

Beyoncé » “Until The End Of Time (Remix)” » LISTEN » (Full) » Sorry for posting this again, but I passed out last night and when I woke up I had this terrible headache so, when I posted the song - it was sort of “rushed” and I couldn’t elaborate as much as I wanted to. This is the official remix, featuring Beyoncé, to Justin’s “Until The End Of Time”. You know, I loved the original, but I’m feeling the remix a little more so. I felt a sudden warmth, I mean, the vibratos matched perfectly; there were no jumps, skips, etc. in the song, with Beyoncé singing onto a pre-recorded track, the continuity was rare.
