The Detroit Pistons take the victory of the series (4-1) between the Orlando Magic. Detroit had an advantage a home by winning the last game in the series but it’s go hard or go home. The Pistons came harder leading them further into the playoffs. The final score of last night game was [91-86]. Richard Hamilton would not let his team lose at home..period. He scored 31 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. Hamilton said proudly after the final game win:
“Now we expect to do this,” Hamilton said. “We’re supposed to be here.”
It seems whenever a team is home it’s easier for them to win games but this wasn’t the case for last night’s game. The Detroit Pistons defeats the Orlando Magic with a 3-pointer by Tayshaun Prince in the last 8.9 seconds in the final quarter (90-89). Pistons still leading the series (3-1). Tayshaun Price totaled 17 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Pistons’ coach Flip Saunders feared they would lose without their star point-guard, Chauncey Billups, but Hamilton stepped in and took charge. Richard Hamilton scored 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Last night in Orlando, Rashard Lewis was on fire. Lewis scored 33 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwight Howard had 20 points and 12 rebounds. Orlando took the win by 25 points (111-86) but the Pistons still lead the series by 1 (2-1). Lewis stated at halftime:
“I made my first couple and really felt like I was going to have it going tonight,” said Lewis, who came to the Magic in a trade with Seattle. “I know my 3 ball hasn’t been falling this whole series.
“Detroit’s obviously been a team that’s been beating us the past couple of years,” Lewis said. “The main focus is we don’t want to dig ourselves too deep of a hole. We want to try to win our home games, take the series back to Detroit 2-2.”
The Detroit Pistons defeat Orlando Magic again going on the a two game winning streak as of now at least (2-0). The defeated Magic last night by 7 (93-100). The Pistons is declaring their spot fast in the playoffs. Chauncey Billups had a total of 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Billups talked about some of the difficulites of playing against these driven opponents:
“It’s tough to be on the other end of that play,” Billups said. “But I’ll take it.”
Tyshaun Prince had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jason Maxiell showed up as a top performer last night with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Gaining lead way (2-1) the Sixers bust the Pistons by a 20-point victory (95-75). Andre Miller scored 21 points, Samuel Dalembert racked 22 points and 16 rebounds for Philadelphia. Richard Hamilton scored 23 points and TayShaun Prince had 18 points. Without these two, Detroit would’ve had a 30-point blowout loss. Look for the game breaker Sunday night.
