American Idol Jordin Sparks has publicly made it known that she has a crush on fellow teen singer Chris Brown. But unfortunately for her, she’s traveling down a one-way street. This is what Chris Brown had to say at Fashion Rocks:
“I heard that [she has a crush on me]. But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”
Ouch! I know one person who won’t be quick to name off their crushes in the future…
NAOMI WANTS KIDS & STARTS COMMUNITY SERVICE: Supermodel Naomi Campbell reportedly had surgery earlier this year to remove what the 38-year-old model called “a small cyst.”
“They thought it was a cyst,” she explained, according to Britain’s Press Association. “When they opened it up they realized it was more.”
The surgery was a success, and now that Naomi is in perfect health, she has plans on starting a family very soon. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m sure Naomi’s a good person and there’s a chance that she could be a really good mom. BUT! I believe there are people on this earth (women, of course) who should not be allowed to re-produce and bring children into the world. And in my humble opinion, Naomi Campbell is at the top of that list. Her temper just doesn’t cut it with me. Say her kid stays out a few minutes past curfew. How do you think Naomi’s gonna punish him/her? Homegirl went upside her maid’s head with a blackberry just for wearing her pants. Imagine what she’d do to her own kid! I shudder at the thought…
The 2008 Video Music Awards aired Sunday night and yours truly is here to bring you the 411 on all of the hottest (and not so hot) styles worn at the show! There were many hot styles worn to the show, but first and foremost, I gotta show some love to the men, because if you take out the select few that I will talk about later on in the post, just about every guy was dressed to impress! Some of the best dressed male celebs of the night were Ludacris, Ne-Yo, LL Cool J, T.I, John Legend, and Chris Brown. Ludacris looked like Mr. Urban High Fashion wearing Gucci from head to toe (tie included), Ne-Yo also looked good rocking Gucci from head to toe, LL Cool J lost the bedazzled tee’s and kept it simple yet classy in Gucci, John Legend really gave an edge to the classic white button up, black tie, and pants look by adding a fly white leather jacket, and Chris Brown decided not to wear his favorite red carpet designer and opted for a Louis Vuitton Jacket, Cassett Jeans, and Dior kicks. American Idol winner Jordin Sparks recently revealed to the press that Chris Brown and Rihanna are indeed dating. The singer recently shot a video for “No Air”, her single with Chris Brown and described how she felt with Rihanna watching the two on the set.
“Yeah, they are [dating]. It was really cool because I walked on the set and she was sitting there with Chris Brown and I was like I can’t believe she’s here. She came and she told me that she loved No Air, and that it was one of her favourite songs. It was really cool hearing that from one of my peers. She just wanted to support him.â€

The 2007 American Music Awards went down last night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The show was telecast live on CBS and featured performances from Fergie, Chris Brown, Beyonce (and Sugarland), Rihanna & Ne-Yo, and more. Winners included Justin Timberlake, T.I., Akon, Rihanna, and Beyonce, who won the most prestigious honor of the night! Beyonce took home the “International Star of the Year” award, an honor only previously given to Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Rod Stewart. This makes her the first female to ever win that award, which was presented by Usher (who fumbled through 95% of it I might add lol — what’s on his mind??).
