It’s time for something NEW!
New music from the few hottest rappers in the game right now! Kanye West, T.I., Jay-Z & Lil’ Wayne have all decided to collaborate on one track titled “Swagger Like Us!” The track is sampled from M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes.” Can you even imagine the buzz … or hype this song will cause?! I’m not sure who’s album this will appear on because Jay-Z, T.I., or maybe even Kanye are all working on new albums. But anyhow, I know ya’ll have to check this beat!
Here is the T2W video premiere of Kanye West’s song, “Champion”, from his latest album Graduation. Although Kanye didn’t actually appear in the video I still think it’s funny how he made a video to spotlight the Summer Beijing Olympics that are in session as we speak. Check out the video above!
Kanye West just closed his Glow In The Dark Tour at the Madison Square Garden yesterday and in this closing he announced that he’s currently in the studio producing beats for Jay-Z’s upcoming album The Blueprint: 3. Jay-Z perform a track from his album, “Jockin’ Jay-Z”, which may even be the first single off the new album. Watch out Lil’ Wayne because this might be the biggest album of year! You can catch the BEST RAPPER ALIVE on the upcoming issue of VIBE Magazine. Check out the performance above!
Here’s the official T2W music video premiere of T.I.’s brand new video for “Whatever You Like” off of his new album, “Paper Trail,” which is due in stores September 30th 2008! CONTINUE READING

Kanye West was spotted walking around in NYC with a hoodie on. He may not have time to write his own blog, according to a few sources, but I know he has time to hit up weather.com and know that the temperature up there has been in the 90’s all week lol. But regardless, T2W still loves you Kanye! We just don’t want to hear about you dying of a heat stroke or something like that. More candids of your favorite celebs when you continue reading. Another T2W video premiere of new music from Fonzworth Bentley, “Everybody” featuring Kanye West & André 3000. This is the first single from his upcoming album, C.O.L.O.U.R.S. (G.O.O.D. Music), in stores later on this year. Catch Fonzworth Bentley as the host of MTV reality series From G’s to Gents every Tuesday @ 10PM. Check out the video above!
It was reported yesterday that Kanye West’s management team had decided that it was high time for the young rapper to enroll in some anger management classes so that he could become more attractive to potential advertisers, and get to along with his friends and family a little better. Well, apparently, those reports turned out to be rumors as the Louis Vuitton Don himself has publicly stated on his blog, and I quote:
“I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!!”
You tell ‘em Yeezy! If your friends, family, and potential advertisers can’t love you for who you are … then you don’t need ‘em! ;-) But you know your bipolar ass needs some anger management. Or medication. Hell, why not shoot two birds with one stone and go with both!
NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA // FRIDAY, JULY 4TH 2008 » So many celebs came out to support, perform and attend the 2008 Essence Music Festival this year on Independence Day. Solange, Bow Wow, Chris Paul, LeBron James, and more were all at the festival for the first day on the 4th. Check out more pics after the cut.
So, I was watching my favourite show in the whole wide world, Family Guy, when I see this infomercial (BeKANYE) come on with none other than Kanye West … I don’t know what Kanye’s promoting, since I ‘cannot’ access the site, but my guess is probably a Viagra Vodka ad? Or some magical pill that, if taken, manifests extraordinary celebrity power upon you in an amount of hours? Either way, the infomercial was really funny, so I thought I’d post it, he he.
Usher performing “In This Club” as the opener for the 2008 BET Awards, which aired last night live from Los Angeles.
The 2008 BET Awards went down last night, and while there were a few lackluster performances (Usher’s being one of them), there were a few memorable, surprising, and exciting moments. One being Alicia Keys’ performance when she brought out SWV, En Vogue, and TLC! Another notable performance of the evening was Ne-Yo’s, where he showed us he can hang with the big dogs when it comes to his dance moves - he even brought out the Jabbawockees (winners of MTV’s America’s Dance Crew). Chris Brown did his thing as well, and surprised everyone when he brought out Ciara. Did Rihanna approve of this beforehand? I’m curious to know. And speaking of Rihanna, did anyone else notice how far she’s come along, as far as her live vocals? I was really impressed when she performed Take A Bow! And last, but most certainly not least, on my list of the best performances of the night, Lil’ Wayne! He kind of scared me towards the end of the show because it seemed like he wasn’t going to come out. The show was already running 15 or 20 minutes over when he was introduced. But he did come out, and he showed us exactly how and why he has sold nearly 1,500,000 copies of Tha Carter: III so far! He started out with Got Money (feat. T-Pain), paid homage to Static Major (R.I.P.) with Lollipop, and ended off his performance with A Millie. He had the whole crowd hyped, and ended off the show perfectly.
While the 2008 BET Awards did have its good moments, much of the show left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I expected a lot more from Usher. His performance was probably the most hyped up (pre-show), and ended up being one of the absolute worst of the night. While I love Keyshia Cole’s Heaven Sent, she really needs to work on her live vocals … and her stage presence. She had a lot of energy, she just didn’t know how to keep it all together. She looked like she was doing too much to me.
In my opinion, the 2007 BET Awards were much better. The performances, the overall show, and oh yeah … the host! Who the hell approved of D.L. Hughley being the host of this year’s show? I hope they received a pink slip in their box this morning. BRING MO’NIQUE BACK!!!
