Rapper LL Cool J, dressed in all black, and his “goonz” were spotted leaving Urth Cafe in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon. The 40-year-old rapper has a new album coming out soon, and is featured on the special 20th anniversary issue of The Source Magazine.
In this edition of “Who Owns the Look” we have Actress Jennifer Lopez and singer Kelly Rowland rocking the same $2,150 (On Sale at Neiman Marcus for $1,613)Dolce & Gabbanna “Miss Easy Way” Metallic Boston Bag. Kelly wore the bag first while spotted in London back in May, while Jenifer wore it while spotted in Italy this weekend. So we must ask the question … WHO OWNS THE LOOK?
WHO OWNS THE LOOK? JENNIFER LOPEZ OR KELLY ROWLAND?
British supermodel Naomi Campbell was spotted on the set of popular television series “Ugly Betty” in Beverly Hills Thursday (May 1st). When asked about her experienced on the set, this is what she had to say:
“I was given a crash course in playing softball and at one point hit the ball so hard it actually broke in half! I had a fantastic day on set; the cast and crew were lovely. The coach said he had never seen anyone pick up the game so quickly.”
Broke the ball in half? Cast and crew were lovely? Not surprising. First of all, I’m sure she’s very fond of “hitting things” with baseball/softball bats, with that temper of hers and all. So I’m sure breaking that softball in half was nothing. And, if I were part of either the cast or crew, I’d be “lovely” too. There’s nothing worse than a pissed off Naomi Campbell … especially a Naomi Campbell with a baseball bat in her hands!
And Jesus wept. Hard. Rapper Foxy Brown was photographed in church today kneeling and praying. I’m all for people turning to the Lord for strength and deliverance, but was summoning the paparazzi appropriate and even necessary? I think not. But meh, to each his own. If she likes it, I love it! I wonder what’s next on her list of things to keep the blogs talking about her.
For flicks of Kelly Rowland, Mariah Carey and more, follow the break!
Polow Da Don is filling up those pockets, I see! He makes a cameo appearance in Nelly’s new video for Party People, the Polow-produced track featuring singer Fergie, which is the debut single from Nelly’s 5th studio album, Brass Knuckles. The album is currently looking at a June 24th 2008 release.

And Music World Music does it again! I swear, that management team has some crazy ideas when it comes to marketing their talent. Most people do radio promos, interviews, and commercials, among other things. But no, not Mathew Knowles and the rest of his crew. They decided to leak a song Beyonce’s been working on because they knew that shit will spread like the bird flu in the Middle East. Had they leaked a song from Kelly, Michelle, or Solange … it probably wouldn’t have even seen the light of day. Sad … but true.
FROM Beyonceonline.com: Yesterday, “Beautiful Nightmare,” a demo I’ve been working on for possible inclusion on my next album, leaked on some websites. I want to thank all my fans for the positive response to the song, but I want to tell you that this is just a work in progress. It is not my time to put out new music. If you really want to hear some really great music now, you have to support my girls Kelly, Michelle and my sister Solange. Kelly just re-released her album digitally in the US, so check out “Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe.” Michelle is about to put out the first single, “We Break The Dawn,” from her album and Solange’s single, “I Decided,” is already one of my favorites.
We don’t believe you Beyonce, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE!
We kinda stole this from Vibe Magazine. You know, where they do the questions. However, there are two differences - we ask an additional question, and the questions they ask, and the ones we ask are completely different! Oh yeah … we spell it like “qwestchuns” lol!
#1: Why did it take to long for Beyonce to get a non-singing role in a movie?
#2: Why does Weezy’s ad for condoms look suspect?
#3: Why are Reggie and Kim playing us with this fake ass relationship?
#4: Speaking of “fake ass relationships,” Chris Brown and Rihanna! Whaddup?
#5: Why didn’t Woody tell Sisqo about his call from the Lord before hitting the radio airwaves? Couldn’t he have at least put him on threeway? CONTINUE READING
Kelly Rowland put those rumors of her having breast implants to rest by confirming their validity in an upcoming issue of People Magazine.
Rowland, who sang “Bootylicious” with Beyonce in the group Destiny’s Child, tells People magazine in its March 17 issue that she had plastic surgery last October to bring her “from an A-cup to a B-cup.” As for the one-cup upgrade, Rowland says: “I didn’t want to have double Ds and be a little bitty size 2 — that would look nuts!” The 27-year-old singer went under the knife after a long decision-making process.
“I was sick of not fitting into my tops,” she says. “There was this one really hot House of Dereon top — I just wanted to fill that out!” Rowland says that top — designed by Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles — complements her new curves: “I put it on and I looked so good! I’m so happy. I feel complete.” Rowland, who has released two solo albums, says she hesitated to discuss the surgery.
“It is a decision I made for myself. I like it, and that’s all that counts. For young people: Think about it before you just jump off and do something (you may regret later),” she says.
Can she get through one interview without making references to Beyonce? Anyhow, I’m loving the new chest though, Kelly. You didn’t go too outrageous. They look “natural.”
Here’s a video I found of Kelly Rowland performing the US national anthem aka the “Star Spangled Banner” at this year’s NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii this past Sunday. She did good!!
Got a couple video premieres for you guys, first up is Blake Lewis with “Break Anotha,” his album A.D.D. is in stores NOW - I did an album review you can check out HERE! CONTINUE READING
Here is the Ms. Kelly’s new single, “Daylight,” featuring Gym Class Heroes. The song will officially release January 2008 of next year whilst the re-release of the Ms. Kelly (Columbia) album. This is a real interesting collaboration, one I would not really expect from Kelly - which is good, I like it a lot! “Daylight” has a nice, old school go-go feel to it and Kelly’s ad-libs are so stellar on this track. Wicked!
