LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA // THURSDAY, SEPT. 4TH 2008 » The 2008 BMI Urban Awards went down Thursday night and was a big night in the Black Music Industry. Three major awards were handed out that night to, Songwriter of the Year, T-Pain, Producer of the Year, Kanye West, and Janet Jackson presented the BMI Icon Award to her brothers The Jacksons 5. My girl Keri Hilson and Timbaland made a pit stop on the promo trail at TRL Monday. As you already know, Keri premiered her new video, and talked about her debut album, “In A Perfect World,” which is due for a late summer/early fall release, so definitely be on the look-out for it. Rumor has it that she and Terrence J exchanged numbers on Monday’s 106 & Park, so if that’s the case … TJ better watch his back ;-) That’s all I’m saying.

Keri, who is looking damn good in that video, by the way, co-hosted today’s episode of 106 & Park with Terrence J, and if you haven’t heard by now, Terrence and Rocsi are having some *ahem* problems. But eff all of that, Keri did a great job on the show! I was actually able to sit there and watch the show. But anyway, check out Keri’s new video above.
