So why didn’t anyone tell me they finally released a video for Kevin Rudolf’s “Let It Rock” featuring rapper Lil’ Wayne? A special note to anyone out there reading this who has any intentions on hiring an assistant or anyone like that … watch your back, and watch what you do around them. Because when you need them the most, they’re gonna f*ck you over like this “Terry Bourgeois” person did to rapper Lil’ Wayne.

The Cash Money star’s assistant, Terry Bourgeois, explained to the judge that marijuana is “something we always have” on Lil Wayne’s tour bus. He went on to reveal the rapper only smokes “dro” and then explained what the name is short for, ie “hydroponically grown” pot. Weezy, all the while, sat with his head in his hands as his assistant dished the news, TMZ reports.

Bourgeois, however, testified she did not see Wayne with a gun on the night in question. According to the Associated Press, Weezy’s legal rep Stacey Richman wants the case dismissed. Richman claims police falsely stated they smelled marijuana in order to board the bus with just cause.

Wow! Did he really have to go into detail like that??? I’m not saying he lie under oath, because we all know what happened with Lil Kim, but damn. This fool explained how it was grown and everything!

Rap genius Lil’ Wayne made a shocking announcement at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which were held Saturday night in Atlanta. After accepting his award for Lyricist of the Year, he made an announcement (twice according to our friends at Necole Bitchie).

My first reaction was “WTF???” but everyone else’s first reaction was “BY WHO?” Now a few months ago I posted an email and photos from a fan that spotted Nivea at a Lil Wayne’s show rockin’ a huge rock and what looked like a baby bump. It doesn’t help that Nivea has Lil Wayne plastered all over her myspace page with little smilies (signs of a girl that’s either in love or some fatal attraction). Yesterday, Someone sent me a photo of Wayne’s first ex-wife Toya looking every bit of 9 months pregnant but I’m putting my bets in that the photo was taken when she was preggers with her first kid. Another email states that the person knows the girl who is pregnant by Wayne and she’s just a random jump off. One thing is for sure, Wayne’s random baby is a hot topic…

Damn… I hope he doesn’t come out with tattoos all over his face with a cup of children’s benadryl in his hands.

MIAMI // TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7TH 2008 » I’m gonna do something different, and go against the norm. I’m not gonna make any jokes about Lil’ Wayne & Baby and their highly disturbing “relationship” as father and son. But I am gonna remind you that they kiss each other in the mouth. No seriously … they do. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Dwayne celebrated his 26th g’day in Miami Tuesday night, and guess what his “daddy” gave him as a gift? $1,000,000. So it looks like Kanye West, Solange, and Pharrell aren’t the only big time celebs making their presence known in the blog world. Weezy has completed his first post in a blog series for ESPN: The Magazine. Check out some of his post below and let me know what you think.

Hello, everybody.

This is the first entry in the blog I’m doing for ESPN The Magazine. I don’t watch nothing but sports—no movies, no news, no television shows—so I thought this would be fun.

Because I watch so much sports, I like to think I know what’s gonna happen. But with the NFL this year, some things have shocked me, some things have been just terrible. Like the Bengals. Damn. I kind of had a feeling things were gonna be bad, but I didn’t want them to be this bad. And oh my God the Chargers.

They won on Monday, but it still wasn’t the Chargers. Then again, I think LaDainian is going to figure out how to work his way back through this injury. LaDainian is tough. I think that last game will be a big motivation boost for him. I’ve talked to some people who’ve had similar injuries with the toe, and they tell me that it’s the mental thing you have to get over first. The pain never goes away, so you gotta accept that and just fight your way through it. I think once he gets used to it you’re gonna see he’s the same LaDainian. I’m not worried about him. He’s gonna be fine. [CONTINUE]

The 2008 Video Music Awards aired Sunday night and yours truly is here to bring you the 411 on all of the hottest (and not so hot) styles worn at the show! There were many hot styles worn to the show, but first and foremost, I gotta show some love to the men, because if you take out the select few that I will talk about later on in the post, just about every guy was dressed to impress! Some of the best dressed male celebs of the night were Ludacris, Ne-Yo, LL Cool J, T.I, John Legend, and Chris Brown. Ludacris looked like Mr. Urban High Fashion wearing Gucci from head to toe (tie included), Ne-Yo also looked good rocking Gucci from head to toe, LL Cool J lost the bedazzled tee’s and kept it simple yet classy in Gucci, John Legend really gave an edge to the classic white button up, black tie, and pants look by adding a fly white leather jacket, and Chris Brown decided not to wear his favorite red carpet designer and opted for a Louis Vuitton Jacket, Cassett Jeans, and Dior kicks.
