T.I. - ‘Swing Your Rag (Louis Rag)‘ is said to be the second single from T.I.’s forthcoming album in stores Sept. 9, Paper Trail (Grand Hustle/Atlantic). The single cites production, as well as a guest feature, from Swizz Beatz.

New music from Lloyd has leaked out on the net and the new track, “Lose Control” featuring Nelly, I must say one word: “HOTNESS”. I definitely like this track! Based on the tracks that we’ve heard already the new upcoming album, Lessons In Love (The Inc./Universal), should be a solid album! Lessons In Love is due in stores August 5th. Check out the following links.
Here is another T2W video premiere, courtesy of our good friends over at WSHH, the song is called “Girls Around The World” by Lloyd, featuring Lil’ Wayne; it’s from his forthcoming album Lessons in Love (The Inc.). I heard this on the radio — not too long ago — and it’s very “whip-friendly” to me.
American Idol winner Ruben Studdard appeared and performed at the 3rd Annual Cinderella Ball at the Willard Intercontinental hotel in Washington, D.C. The ball is an annual prom-like event for students with disabilities, and is sponsored by The House, Inc.
Here are the official T2W video premieres from Busta Rhymes, Fall Out Boy and OneRepublic; with the first two being Don’t Touch Me and We Made It (featuring Busta Rhymes. Both singles will be included on Rhymes’ new album, I’m Blessed (Flipmode/Aftermath/Interscope), in stores July 17th, 2008! We Made It is after the ✄ CONTINUE READING
(Photos: Ben Rose / Wire Image) Hotlanta was full of unsigned talent and the biggest names in hip-hop Thursday night (Apr. 24th). Atlanta’s Luckie Lounge was host to the 11th Annual BMI Atlanta Unsigned Urban Showcase, which featured performances from Lil’ Wayne, Sean Garrett and Teyana Taylor. But Usher, Lil Scrappy, Polow Da Don, Lil John, and a host of celebrities (from Atlanta and beyond) came out just to party!
‘How We Do It In The A’ featuring Ludacris is said to R&Ber Lloyd’s first single from his forthcoming album due out later this year. The song has a nice synth sound and “knock” to it (Ludacris), I really like it! I get this whole Michael Jackson-vibe with Lloyd, not that it’s a bad thing, but I can totally picture this record being for him. Maybe that’s why I like it so much? If Lloyd and Luda can put together a stellar dance video with this - like a little tribute thing to MJ - I’m sold I tell you! Do you think this song has enough potential to put ATL back on the map once again? Let me know, y’all! Oh and someone asked the question, “how could I preview the song before I download it?” When you go to the page link click on ‘zSHARE’ as one of the dl links and you can hear a stream of the song before you dl it, bb!

THRILLER 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION (CLICK TO ENLARGE)
EPIC RECORDS/LEGACY RECORDINGS UNVEIL THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF MICHAEL JACKSON’S THRILLER THE WORLD’S BIGGEST SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME Well it has indeed been a long time coming but the wait is now worth it, The World’s Top-selling Pop Artist Ever Mr. Michael Jackson will be returning with brand new and unreleased material featuring Will.I.Am and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, Akon and Kanye West for the final installment of Thriller 25th Anniversary Edition! The album will be available for purchase February 12th of next year and expect a new single to be announced sometime in December of 2007. I’m so overzealous — you have no idea! The album Thriller has been certified by the RIAA 27x platinum thus achieving Double Diamond status and making history as the first and only record to be America’s top-selling album two years running (1983 and 1984). Michael Jackson has started a mainstream phenomenon in everything, not just music, he is just simply the greatest and there will never be another quite like Michael. Ahh, I think my all-time favorite MJ cuts would have to be (next to “Thriller” of course), “They Don’t Care About Us,” “Leave Me Alone,” “Ghost” and “Scream!” But really, I like all of ‘em! This man puts out consecutive hits to me, he will always be number one, I cannot stress that enough. Oh, I’m so excited — can you tell?! **CONTINUE READING

Here you can find Pitbull’s new single, featuring R&B singer Lloyd, “Secret Admirer” from his upcoming album The Boatlift (TVT Records). Boatlift is currently set for a fourth quarter Fall release. In my opinion “Secret Admirer” is a smooth, melodic production, this courtesy of the rap duo Play-N-Skillz, I found it relaxing with the sudden calmness and subtly. Lloyd’s voice matches so perfectly with the arrangements of vocals.

K, we got a couple new video premieres for y’all! First up, I’m sure you guys remember American Idol’s Jordin Sparks’ single “Tattoo” last Summer, I love Stargate, but they are over-doing it with the “Irreplaceable” thing … I know that was like the number one song - but dang - I mean COME ON! I’m getting sick of it now!! Anyway, the video for that recently premiered on Yahoo! Music along with Pitbull’s new single, featuring Lloyd, “Secret Admirer,” which you can peep after the cut, I should have a review of that posted up in a minute. ;-)
When Screamfest ‘07 hit NYC last week (Wednesday August 22 2007) they didn’t hold anything back! In addition to the headliners and supporting acts (I’m sure you know who they are by now), you had the likes of 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Jay-Z sharing the same stage! Yeah, you read it correctly … Kanye West and 50 Cent. A HISTORIC MOMENT in Hip-Hop indeed! Diddy, Da Brat, Wyclef Jean, and Yung Berg showed up too. I wish I could’ve been there!
SIDENOTE: I wonder how many “damn you’re late” comments I’m going to get! I still have love for y’all though! Haha.
Y’all know it’s summer, and for the past 7 years, BET has sponsored a tour in what they call the “Scream Tour.” From 2001 - 2006, the show featured Bow Wow, Omarion, and some other teeny bopper groups, but this time around they changed it up - from the name, to the line-up! For 2007, it’s called “Scream Fest” and it features an ATL line-up with T.I. and Ciara headlining, and Yung Joc, Lloyd, and T-Pain acting as openers. Now when they had those Pretty Ricky losers, and Bow Wow ‘nem, they had no problem coming to SC. Now that they have people on the roster that I like, they act like they can’t show SC any love! What’s up with that? Okay, enough of my venting. Check out the dates after the cut if you plan on attending…
