British supermodel Naomi Campbell was spotted on the set of popular television series “Ugly Betty” in Beverly Hills Thursday (May 1st). When asked about her experienced on the set, this is what she had to say:
“I was given a crash course in playing softball and at one point hit the ball so hard it actually broke in half! I had a fantastic day on set; the cast and crew were lovely. The coach said he had never seen anyone pick up the game so quickly.”
Broke the ball in half? Cast and crew were lovely? Not surprising. First of all, I’m sure she’s very fond of “hitting things” with baseball/softball bats, with that temper of hers and all. So I’m sure breaking that softball in half was nothing. And, if I were part of either the cast or crew, I’d be “lovely” too. There’s nothing worse than a pissed off Naomi Campbell … especially a Naomi Campbell with a baseball bat in her hands!

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is blaming the color of her skin for her recent arrest at Heathrow Airport in London late last week.
“It just goes to show I have to fight for who I am. It’s because I am black,” she said to a friend.

She was reportedly removed from a British Airways flight, with witnesses saying she was cuffed on board the aircraft while being agressive and abusive to staff.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who is famous for her deranged temper, was arrested at Heathrow airport in London after she reportedly spat on and physically assaulted an officer. According to UK’s The Sun, what set Naomi off was the fact that the airline had lost one of her three bags. Apparently the bag never made it on to the flight. The airline allegedly assured the model that her bags would be located, and returned to her soon, but obviously that wasn’t enough.
She began harassing airline staff who called cops as the flight was called and Naomi walked onto the plane. She was still yelling at boarding card staff as she took her seat. Three officers from the MET’s SO18 Aviation security branch then came onto the plane. They tried to calm the model down, but she is alleged to have reacted by spitting at an officer and then laying into him with her fists. Frenzied Naomi was bought under control after a struggle and then physically hauled off the plane. Cops were called and she was heard screaming “get off me, leave me alone” before she attacked one and was taken away to Heathrow police station.
An eyewitness said: “She attacked a male police officer and spat at him and she was taken to the airport police station.”
A Heathrow spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a passenger was removed by police from a BA flight this afternoon.”
That damn Naomi! I’m guessing she didn’t learn from her last bout with the law…

NAOMI CAMPBELL RELEASED FROM BRAZILIAN HOSPITAL » Supermodel Naomi Campbell is officially out of the hospital, as of Friday (Feb. 29th), five days after she was rushed in for emergency surgery, the hospital said.
“She recovered very well from her surgery,” the Sirio Libanes hospital in Sao Paulo said in a statment. “Doctors signed her release, and she left in the afternoon in a helicopter that someone sent to pick her up.”
It was recommended by Dr. Jose Aristodemo Pinotti, the Brazilian surgeon who attended to Campbell, that the British supermodel stay in the Brazilian hospital and get some rest before returning to work. Reports from last Monday stated that she went in to get a cyst removed, but Dr. Pinotti said that Naomi did NOT have a cyst removed, but would not specify what exactly she was treated for. “When a patient asks for discretion, be it Naomi or just plain Maria, I respect their wishes,” he told the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper on Friday. People is reporting that model Naomi Campbell was admitted to a hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the removal of a small cyst late last night.
“Naomi Campbell was admitted to a hospital [Monday night] to have a small cyst removed. Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank he doctors who have kindly looked after her.”
The 37-year-old British supermodel is said to be recuperating in the Sirio Libanes hospital.

Yesterday (Dec. 1st) was World AIDS Day, and the annual 46664 Aids Awareness concert sponsored by Nelson Mandela was held yesterday at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa.
