The San Antonio Spurs win Game 6 at home against the New Orleans Hornets. CP3 didn’t come through like I wish he did but he had a pretty good game overall. The Spurs did take the win by 11 (99-80). The series is still tied though (3-3). Tim Duncan scored 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Manu Ginobili scored 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Tony Parker had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Duncan stated how he felt about the stakes of these series played between the Hornets’:
“We know what we’re facing. We’re facing elimination,” Duncan said. “And we know we have to put a good game together there. … We’re going to take it in there and it’s do-or-die.”

Tony Parker did not want to lose 3 games in a row to the Hornets so he stepped up his game a little bit. Parker totaled 31 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds. Manu Ginobili also scored 31 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Ginobili said after the victory last night:
“We know that going 3-0 — it’s never been done to come back like that,” said Ginobili, “Today, for us, it was a Game 7. We knew if we didn’t win today, it was almost over. So we had a different approach. We played with more passion, more edge.”
The New Orleans Hornets win another game against the San Antonio Spurs(2-0). The final score by victory for the Hornets by 18 (102-84). Top performer of the night, Chris Paul scored a career-high 30 points and 12 assists, had a comment after the game:
“These are some of the best moments, I think, of my life that we’re experiencing right now,” Paul said. “We’re just riding a wave right now.”

Seeing the rings Hornets’ coach Byron Scott gained with previous team, Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Paul responded after the win last night:
“It sort of gives you goose bumps. We understand right now we’re on that same journey and we feel like we can get there.”
Paul had a total of 17 points, 13 assists, and 4 rebounds. Top scorer of the night was David West, who had 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 rebounds. Tyson Chandler racked up 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Jannero Pargo shot his best game of the season last night with 30 points, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Chris Paul with 16 points and 10 assists was not excited about this loss but he knew he did his best. Chris Paul responded quote on quote:
“I think we got a lot of the shots we wanted. Paul continued, We just missed them.”
The New Orleans Hornets win game 2 against the Dallas Mavericks. Chris Paul was hungry for points last night leading the Hornets into every quarter with the winning score. Chris Paul had 32, playoff record of 17 assists, with the dominating winning score (127-103). David West had 27 and Peja Stojakovic had 22 points. At the end of the game reporters asked Chris Paul if there was a way Dallas could stop him, he replied:
“I’m sure there is, but to me, I hope not.” he continued “One thing I’ve learned this season and watching these games is that you have to be aggressive. If I sit back and let them trap me, then they succeed with what they need to do.
