The San Antonio Spurs win Game 6 at home against the New Orleans Hornets. CP3 didn’t come through like I wish he did but he had a pretty good game overall. The Spurs did take the win by 11 (99-80). The series is still tied though (3-3). Tim Duncan scored 20 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Manu Ginobili scored 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Tony Parker had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Duncan stated how he felt about the stakes of these series played between the Hornets’:
“We know what we’re facing. We’re facing elimination,” Duncan said. “And we know we have to put a good game together there. … We’re going to take it in there and it’s do-or-die.”

“We know that going 3-0 — it’s never been done to come back like that,” said Ginobili, “Today, for us, it was a Game 7. We knew if we didn’t win today, it was almost over. So we had a different approach. We played with more passion, more edge.”
The New Orleans Hornets win another game against the San Antonio Spurs(2-0). The final score by victory for the Hornets by 18 (102-84). Top performer of the night, Chris Paul scored a career-high 30 points and 12 assists, had a comment after the game:
“These are some of the best moments, I think, of my life that we’re experiencing right now,” Paul said. “We’re just riding a wave right now.”

Seeing the rings Hornets’ coach Byron Scott gained with previous team, Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Paul responded after the win last night:
“It sort of gives you goose bumps. We understand right now we’re on that same journey and we feel like we can get there.”
Paul had a total of 17 points, 13 assists, and 4 rebounds. Top scorer of the night was David West, who had 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 rebounds. Tyson Chandler racked up 10 points and 15 rebounds.
The Phoenix Suns played their final game (1-4) of the series in the playoff last night losing to the San Antonio Spurs by 5 (87-92). Tony Parker had a total 31 points, 8 assists, and 3 rebounds. Tim Duncan who never doubted they’ll defeat the Suns boldly said after the game:
“Just happy we’re done with them,” he said. Really, was there ever any doubt?”
The Phoenix Suns become optimistic in Game 4 by winning their first game last night. The won by 19 points (105-86), but the San Antonio Spurs is still leading (3-1). Top performer of the Suns, Raja Bell, had 27 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. Shaquille O’ Neal had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assists. Steve Nash, who had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, said at the end of the game:
“A lot of woulda coulda shouldas,” Steve Nash continued. “But we’re still alive, and we played well in San Antonio and haven’t got a win yet. So we want to go down there with a very optimistic attitude.”

Looks like the sun has set for the Phoenix Suns, with a domination and victory to the San Antonio Spurs last night. With a final score of (117-115) including the double overtime. Tim Duncan was on fire last night especially because of his unexpected shot behind the 3-point line. Tim Duncan had 40 points and 15 rebounds, Tony Parker had 22 points, Manu Ginobili had 24 points and the winning point/layup with 1.8 seconds left in the second overtime. At the end of the game Duncan made this statement:
“It feels like a finals game,” Duncan said, “It’s the first game of the first series, and we’re going have to muster energy back up”
