NEW YORK CITY // MONDAY, AUGUST 4TH 2008 » Phoenix Sun basketball star Shaquille O’Neal was spotted signing autographs for a couple of fans (and even tickling one … aww!) as he and a friend left his hotel in Manhattan a few days ago. Hopefully he wasn’t putting on for the cameras because I love to see celebrities do stuff like this every now and then.

Remember that video of Shaq dissing Kobe a few days ago? Well, turns out Maricopa County of Phoenix, Arizona didn’t find it too funny! Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Shaq used inappropriate racial derogatory statements and foul language, and left him no choice. Sheriff Arpaio said to the Associated Press:
“I want his two badges back,” Arpaio said, “Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they’re fired. I don’t condone this type of racial conduct.”
In a recent TMZ video, Shaquille ‘O Neal called himself “free-styling” and trying to rap and he caught himself dissing Kobe Bryant hard! I cannot believe this! Shaq seriously needs to retire. I’m not even gonna get into why he should but check out the video above!

The Phoenix Suns become optimistic in Game 4 by winning their first game last night. The won by 19 points (105-86), but the San Antonio Spurs is still leading (3-1). Top performer of the Suns, Raja Bell, had 27 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds. Shaquille O’ Neal had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assists. Steve Nash, who had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, said at the end of the game:
“A lot of woulda coulda shouldas,” Steve Nash continued. “But we’re still alive, and we played well in San Antonio and haven’t got a win yet. So we want to go down there with a very optimistic attitude.”

MVP of Game 3 went to Tony Parker, who scored a career-high 41 points and 12 assists leading the Spurs to a 16-point victory (115-99). Tim Duncan added 23 points and 10 rebounds. Manu Ginobili scored a total of 20 points.

Looks like the sun has set for the Phoenix Suns, with a domination and victory to the San Antonio Spurs last night. With a final score of (117-115) including the double overtime. Tim Duncan was on fire last night especially because of his unexpected shot behind the 3-point line. Tim Duncan had 40 points and 15 rebounds, Tony Parker had 22 points, Manu Ginobili had 24 points and the winning point/layup with 1.8 seconds left in the second overtime. At the end of the game Duncan made this statement:
“It feels like a finals game,” Duncan said, “It’s the first game of the first series, and we’re going have to muster energy back up”

Oprah Winfrey tops the list, earning a whopping $260 million, Tiger Woods trails behind her at a distant $100 milion, and Jay-Z is right behind him with $83 million earned. SHAUNIE: “I WANT TO SAVE OUR MARRIAGE” » Shaquille O’Neal’s divorce battle may be postponed, as his wife Shaunie Nelson has filed papers to the court denying that her marriage is irretrievably broken down. The basketball legend filed for divorce last month claiming that his wife had been “secretive about her assets … particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either (her) name alone or in other entities.” However, Nelson denies this secrecy stating that she has “nothing to hide.” The wife of Shaquille is asking the court to grant her a three-month continuance so that she can attempt to save her marriage and ignore her husband’s divorce application.
