TIMBALAND » CHRIS BROWN » SEAN PAUL » THE-DREAM
Timbaland ft. Keri Hilson, D.O.E. + OneRepublic » “Way I Are (Remix)” » LISTEN » (Full) » Whoa! What a collaboration we got here! It seems music producer Timbaland has once again team up with OneRepublic for the “Way I Are” remix featuring Keri Hilson and D.O.E. I think I might like this more than the original, wow! I love it, this will definitely be a stellar club banger, no doubt!
Chris Brown » “Fallen Angel” » LISTEN » (FULL) » Apparently this is a UK bonus track (DAMN, they always get the good stuff!!) from Chris Brown’s late Exclusive album in stores now! The song, “Fallen Angel,” features some solid production from Mr. Bryan Michael-Cox which probably explains why I love it so much! <3. And is that a Spanish breakdown at the latter? Oh, n/m it was just reversed lol.
Sean Paul » “Hardcore (Killa Beez Riddim)” » LISTEN » (Full) » You know what? I give up on Sean Paul, I’m not feelin’ this at all. It seems he just gave up with this album, luckily his people have pushed it back ’til next year, which isn’t too bad. Hopefully they will get it right during that time with everything…
The-Dream ft. R.Kelly » “Shawty Is A Ten (Remix)” » LISTEN » (Full) » Well this song has definitely been all over the radio lately, so much, that King of R&B himself R. Kelly decided to join hitmaker The-Dream on the “Shawty Is A Ten” remix. It seems that all the material I’ve heard so far is about infidelity, lol, but I’m just not feeling anymore material after “Shawty Is A Ten” becos it’s so hott!
Okay, this is surprisingly digestible - you know what - I’m not even gonna lie. I will admit, I was a little skeptical, about this whole Face Off ordeal at first. But so far, all of the recent material I have heard from these two are gold. It is highly likely this will push at least Gold status; citing how Bow Wow and Omarion’s debut collaboration, “Let Me Hold You,” did the equivalent anyhow. And with solid delivery like that, who can complain?
Being a die-hard Trey Songz fan, he already was the “enabler”. So, in essence, I was ultimately looking forward to this kind of collaboration. Seeing how I am also a Jigga fan as well, I was floored. I have yet to believe such a collaboration is possible. Although with the type of production, backing with Jay’s flow, on this track is nothing to mess with, I kind of felt this continuity going in my mind with Trey’s voice so I was not surprise once he made his brief appearance. Usually [rappers] adding to a Hova’s rap is highly unnecessary and almost seems unfeasible in correlation with the beat. But Trey sort of hung in there and stuck it out with the arrangements - I did not get that vibe at all.
This is probably my most favorite collaboration from Timbaland and my most favorite OneRepublic song! It’s too late to apologiiiiiiiiiize! LOL, gotta work on that high note… OneRepublic’s self-titled debut will hit stores November 20th!
