Atlanta’s Luckie Lounge was host to the 11th Annual BMI Atlanta Unsigned Urban Showcase, which featured performances from Lil’ Wayne, Sean Garrett and Teyana Taylor. But Usher, Lil Scrappy, Polow Da Don, Lil John, and a host of celebrities (from Atlanta and beyond) came out just to party!

Usher’s album record sales are looking better and better everyday. He has a remix to his hit single, “Love In This Club” featuring Beyoncé and Lil’ Wayne. He’s calling it “Part II”, I wonder if there is more of these “parts” to this single. Then again, J.D. did mention possible featured tracks from Beyoncé and many others. Usher and his wife/baby mama Tameka Foster were caught by the paps in LA early last week enjoying an early lunch. I’m hella surprised to actually see those two interacting happily with the paparazzi! Didn’t he just give them the finger not too long ago?

Jay-Z will appear on the remix to Mariah Carey’s second single, “Bye Bye”, from her new album E=MC2. Jermaine Dupri actually confirmed both of these facts, quote unquote:
“The remix for the Mariah record is crazy.” “Young Hov and Mariah crank it up, and myself — a.k.a. Barry Bonds — cleans up.”

TMZ camera’s caught singer Usher, his wife Tameka Foster, and their son Usher Raymond V shopping for baby clothes recently. This is the first sighting of Little Usher and he is so adorable!

Whenever these two get a chance to honeymoon it up, I’m sure they’re gonna have some “fun!” And I assume she’s wearing the gloves to cover up her *ahem* wedding ring? Anyway, if she is indeed pregnant, she must be only a week or two ’cause I see no baby bump what-so-ever. And that jacket is a little tight … so, yeah.

Here’s the official video for Usher’s single, Love in This Club. The Polow Da Don-produced track is the first single off of Usher’s new album, Here I Stand which is scheduled for a late May release. The video features rapper Young Jeezy, singer Keri Hilson, and has cameos from Kanye West and Diddy!

HERE I STAND DUE IN MAY INSTEAD OF JUNE » In an industry where setbacks are about as natural as Naomi Campbell losing her mind, it’s rare that you find that an album has been pushed up a few weeks. Originally slated for a June 2008 release, Usher’s Here I Stand album has been pushed up to May 27th, reports Billboard.
The video for the album’s first single, In This Club, has already been shot and is set to premiere on Monday, April 7th. A 30-second clip of the video has been making its rounds across the web over the past week. The actual single, produced by hitmaker Polow Da Don, is currently sitting pretty at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, which is another rarity, seeing as there has been no hardcore promotion and no accompanying video. He can have every radio station in these here United States to thank for that, seeing as it appears as though that’s the only song they have on constant rotation. CONTINUE READING
So a snippet of the video for Usher’s new single Love in this Club has hit the net, and I can’t really say that I’m feeling it. But it’s only 30 seconds, so I’ll reserve a full judgement for Monday (Apr. 7th) when it’s supposed to premiere. Oh, and I just love how I saw Keri Hilson’s face only once in that whole 30 seconds. Looks like ol’ Tameka got to the editors too! Now, you may be thinking: “But Dustin, it’s just 30 seconds! And it’s Usher’s video…” Well I figure an entire video is about 4 minutes long, right? You do the math lol. 4 minutes times 60 seconds per minute, equals 240 seconds. 30 of 240 seconds is about 12%. So that’s 12% of the video. But it might just be that 12% where you barely see her, so like I said before, I’ll reserve a full judgement for when the FULL video premieres.

Usher and Tameka Foster, along with Tameka’s kids, pictured above enjoying some “family time” at the Kids’ Choice Awards. I know I might catch some flack for this but real talk, Tameka looks like she’s at the show with her three sons! Anyway, the 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards went down Saturday night in L.A. and you know all of the adult stars brought their kids to Nickelodeon’s annual awards ceremony. Every year around this time, the KCA’s honors the year’s biggest television, movie and music acts, as voted by kids who watch Nickelodeon.
The streets are talking! And they don’t have many good things to say about Usher’s new wifey Tameka. Word on the sidewalk is that home girl was acting up on the set of her husband’s new video for In This Club. You see, Usher made two big mistakes. Mistake #1: Hiring Tameka as the stylist for his video. Mistake #2 (but technically not really a mistake): Hiring Keri Hilson as the leading lady; someone who is much more beautiful than that Tameka creature whom he calls “wife.” Anyway, a spy for Page Six let the cat out of the bag, and revealed all of the dirt that you’d never hear come from the mouths of neither Usher nor his PR team. Foster was “domineering” and displayed her trademark “Tameka wrath” during a video shoot for Usher’s new song, “Love in the Club,” the weekend of March 15 in LA. Our on-set source said Foster was upset when she found out stunning singer/songwriter Keri Hilson was personally picked by Usher to play his love interest in the video.
“It was supposed to be a sexy video shoot,” our spy said. “And Tameka was there the entire time guarding like a watchdog. It was ridiculous - she knows Keri and knows she’s no video ho or Karrine Steffans.” Steffans, nicknamed “Superhead,” wrote the book, “Video Vixen,” about her alleged flings with Usher and several other artists.
“Tameka is very insecure,” our source said. “Even in rehearsals she was weird and clearly not happy that Keri is so gorgeous. Tameka threw a lot of attitude. The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly - she looked like an extra. Tameka wouldn’t let Keri have her hairdresser there - she had to use the hairdresser who was doing the extras.”
Foster also took a dislike to Usher’s longtime choreographer, Jamaica, and banned her from the set. When Usher and Foster were spotted at the Beverly Hills Hotel last week, “They barely said one word to each other,” we’re told.
Bitchassness, indeed!
