Will SMith covers the latest issue of JET Magazine. In the issue Will tells us what we can expect from his new movie Hancock.
“‘Hancock,’ follows a sarcastic superhero who constantly leaves a wave of destruction in his path; sci-fi comedy ‘Meet Dave,’ which teams up Eddie Murphy and Gabrielle Union, chronicles a ship from outer space that lands in New York City to learn the culture of Americans.”
Singer/dancer Chris Brown and actor/comedian Mike Myers opened up the 2008 MTV Movie Awards with a “dance-off” styled competition and got tons of laughs from the audience. British supermodel Naomi Campbell was spotted on the set of popular television series “Ugly Betty” in Beverly Hills Thursday (May 1st). When asked about her experienced on the set, this is what she had to say:
“I was given a crash course in playing softball and at one point hit the ball so hard it actually broke in half! I had a fantastic day on set; the cast and crew were lovely. The coach said he had never seen anyone pick up the game so quickly.”
Broke the ball in half? Cast and crew were lovely? Not surprising. First of all, I’m sure she’s very fond of “hitting things” with baseball/softball bats, with that temper of hers and all. So I’m sure breaking that softball in half was nothing. And, if I were part of either the cast or crew, I’d be “lovely” too. There’s nothing worse than a pissed off Naomi Campbell … especially a Naomi Campbell with a baseball bat in her hands!
And Jesus wept. Hard. Rapper Foxy Brown was photographed in church today kneeling and praying. I’m all for people turning to the Lord for strength and deliverance, but was summoning the paparazzi appropriate and even necessary? I think not. But meh, to each his own. If she likes it, I love it! I wonder what’s next on her list of things to keep the blogs talking about her.

Forbes released their list of the top-earning African American stars. Oprah Winfrey tops the list, earning a whopping $260 million, Tiger Woods trails behind her at a distant $100 milion, and Jay-Z is right behind him with $83 million earned. The list also includes Beyonce (#9 at $27 million) and Kobe Bryant (#5 at $33 million). The list was determined off of earnings between June 2006 and June 2007. Check out the full list below!

Here’s the official theatrical trailer for Will Smith’s latest movie to hit theaters in 2008, “Hancock.” In Hancock, Will Smith plays a superhero named Hancock who’s fallen on hard times, and when he hires a PR exec to correct his image, Hancock ends up falling for the guy’s wife, who is played by actress Charlize Theron.
